Jan did not listen to her words as if her trembling voice did not reach his ears.
He pulled her closer to him and picked her up in his arms.
Ava started to punch his chest. “Leave me. Let me go.”
He whispered, looking down at her,
“I am a bad person. You are disgusted with me. You don’t believe in mate bonds and all, huh?”
Her fists tightened against his black shirt. She was terrified by the expression he gave her.
“Ian Dawson, I will kill you if you dare-”
“It’s Alpha for you. I will show you what Alpha Ian can do to you to make you his sole possession.”
He threw her on the bed. Her body jerked across the mattress.
She tried to back away. He pressed one knee against the bed and grabbed her ankle, dragging her toward him.

But when she saw him remove his belt from the waistband of his pants, a fright gripped her heart.

She tried to break free her hands, but Ian wrapped the belt around her wrist and locked her hands.
Her lips parted in shock. She tried to move her hands, but it went in vain.

He pressed her down against the mattress and climbed on her.
He was putting pressure on his knees so that she would not have to feel his weight. His eyes were fixed on her face.
His one hand held the grip of the belt, which was locking her hands, and pinned it over her head.
Her sleeveless arms were delicately displayed in front of his eyes.
“Stop struggling,” he muttered.
She paused in her movements to look at him. “I hate you.”
“You are going to hate me even more. I began to enjoy your hatred, too. But seeing you with another man… As long as I am alive, I cannot allow this to happen.”
