Aya left the office in the evening. She had nothing in her mind. She only wanted to go home and sleep. She had “worked all day and eaten little. Dane’s words kept replaying in her head every time she thought about her future.
It looked like fate had never decided happiness in her life. All it wrote for her was suffering mentally.
She was depressed and alone in this pack.
On her way, Griffin called her, asking her to meet him. She refused by saying that she was tired. She said she would meet him tomorrow evening.
The sky was slowly getting dark. The orange shadow in the sky faded into the darkness.
Ava paid the cabbie and walked toward her house.
It was a house with three bedrooms. Dane suggested this house, so she never considered moving out, even though it was too large for one person.
She took out the keys and was about to open the door when she heard the sound of another car from behind.
She turned around and was stunned.
The car stopped near her house, and two people were getting out of the car.
Seeing the two people, she could not believe her eyes. She blinked her eyes, trying to figure out if she was seeing things.
She could not stop herself from murmuring in confusion.
“Abigail? Debra?”
Her two best friends were in the Thunder Howl Pack! In front of her!
Abigail and Debra rushed towards her, spreading their arms.
“Ava!”
They screamed with bright faces and hugged her as soon as they approached her.
Ava felt a jolt of happiness as soon as they embraced her. She hugged them tightly and asked,
“You two are here! How?”
They broke the hug and looked at her with smiles on their faces. Seeing their beautiful smiles, Ava could not help but smile.
She was smiling after a week. If they had not come, she would have forgotten how to smile.
The driver brought out two pieces of luggage and handed them to Abigail and Debra.
When Ava saw the luggage, she was surprised. Her friends turned their gaze and asked,
“What? Won’t you give us shelter in your house?”
Ava immediately grinned at them and opened the door of her house. “Of course!”
Ava dashed to the kitchen and came out holding a tray of two glasses of mango juice. She put the tray on the center table and told them to drink.

Once they were comfortable on the couch, they began talking.
We took a leave for one week and came here for vacation, Debra announced, moving her hands like she was “doing a dance step.
Ava was happy to hear that. “I am glad you chose to come here. I was missing you two.”
Later, Ava prepared dinner.
Abigail and Debra helped her. The three of them laughed when they worked together and ate together.
“We can use one room. Debra and I can share,” Abigail said
Ava shook her head. “But there is one extra bedroom if you want it. So you two can have one for each.”
“No need,” Debra said, taking Abigail’s hand and walking toward the bedroom they had chosen.
Ava stared at them in confusion. But then she shrugged her shoulders and mumbled,
“It’s good that they are here. I am hoping this week will not pass by quickly.”
The next morning,
Ava woke up early and prepared breakfast for her friends. She had a smile on her face since her close people were in the pack, and she was not alone here.
“You woke up so early!”
Abigail said, moving to the kitchen. Debra was behind her, following.
Ava turned to look at them. “Same as you two.”
“Well, we woke up early to explore this pack.”
“Oh,” Ava mumbled.
She wondered how she would accompany them if she did not have any company leave.
“I… I need to take a leave from the company first,” she mumbled to her friends.
Debra laughed at her expression. “Babe, chill out. You don’t have to accompany us today. Today, Abigail and I will roam the pack and collect places to visit tomorrow. How about you taking a few days off for us starting tomorrow?

Ava’s eyes lit up. “Sure.”
Ava hurried to the table and grabbed her purse and then said,
“I am leaving then. See you two in the evening. By the way, if you want anything, just call me.”
Debra raised her hand to stop her. “What about your handsome wizard brother? Give me his number.‘ ‘‘ visit the pack with him.”
Ava was about to give Griffin’s number to Debra when Abigail held Debra’s arm and said,
“He will kill you if you do that.”
Ava paused and looked at them carefully. “Who will kill her Abigail?”
