Ava was relieved to see that the enemies were being eliminated. The Thunder Howl was going to be safe.
As she walked forward, her dress caught something on the ground she lowered her head to find her legs covered in scratches. She pulled her dress that was stuck in a tree branch, ignoring the wounds.
Suddenly something caught her mind. She slowly raised her head, gazing at the large trees in front of her.
She blinked as she was considering something. She felt a knife slip into her arm, causing her to scream.
She turned her head and found a witch approaching her.
“Did you think you could get away?” the witch asked, grabbing Ava’s hair.
Ava became enraged in pain and pushed the woman, glaring at her with intense eyes.
Her glowing green eyes had so much strength that the tree behind the witch caught fire.
The witches and wizards surrounding her were stunned. Ava dashed toward the tree and grabbed a burning tree branch that had recently fallen down.
She moved the branch around and said,
“Whoever comes near me will die.”
They stepped back from her. Ava was just about to rush forward, but she heard a familiar voice in the war.
“Don’t hurt her.”
Ava froze when she noticed Griffin with the enemies.
She ran up to him and came to a halt a few feet away.
“Brother Griffin! What are you doing with them? I will save you, I swear,” Ava said, kicking a wizard’s stomach. The man collapsed on the floor, cursing.
“Why the fuck are you not talking, Griffin? Why are you supporting her? She is our enemy.”
Ava was caught off guard. “En–Enemy?”
She could not understand what she was hearing. She looked at Griffin and asked with trembled lips,
“What is he talking about, brother?”
Behind him, everyone was getting closer, as if they were trying to Hurt Ava. But she stepped back and showed them the tree
branch.
“I am going to burn you all like this.”
One of the witches stared at the branch with glowing eyes. Ava did not notice it since her attention was on Griffin.
The tree branch suddenly blew out of fire.
Ava was stunned. How could she forget that there were more experienced, powerful witches there? She had only been practicing for four years, and it was not enough to be saved in a war.
“Ava, go back,” Griffin said, moving closer to her.
Ava shook her head. “No, brother. Did they hurt you? Don’t worry, will-”
“Ava”
She paused as she shut her mouth after hearing him. His voice came out as a warning. She looked at his body and was surprised

that he did not get a single wound in his body.
It was doubtful to her.
Griffin’s eyes fell on her wound, and he yelled at the people behind him.
“Didn’t I tell you not to hurt her? Who dared to hurt her?”
Ava was confused. “Why do you tell them anything? Why would they listen to you?”
At that time, one of the people from hind him spoke out,
“We are here to support Master Griffin. He will be the next ruler of our coven and this pack.”
Immediately the witches started to chant some spells, causing the circle around them to tighten, making it smaller.
For werewolves, they could not see it. But if they touched the circle, they would die.
Ava’s body trembled as soon as she heard that.
“W–What?”
Griffin looked at Ava calmly and said,
“Ava”
“No! Did you really…?”
Ava got interrupted when she heard Dane’s voice in their mind link
“So it was you?”
Ava turned around and found him standing behind her. His eyes were sharp as he growled at Griffin.
All the wizards were ready to get into a fight as if they had already made Griffin their ruler.
Ava felt heartbroken. How could her brother do that?
She turned back to Griffin with a disappointed look and asked,
“How could you betray your own Alpha?”
Griffin’s blue eyes glowed as he raised his hand to stop his coven members.
“Why are you upset, Ava? Don’t you think this is the best solution for you too? Like this, you can be with your mate too. I will rule this pack here, and you can be your mate’s Luna in his pack.”
While saying that, Griffin signaled Ava to someone behind her. She turned her head and froze when she saw lan.
He was standing beside Dane, looking at her.
Ava felt her heart clench inside when she saw the wounds on his body. He was shirtless. He had wounds all over, and his black pants were covered in blood. She let out a shaky breath when she noticed his bandage was no longer on his arm; he had removed it, and there was another bite mark in the wound.
It looked like all the wizards and witches stayed away from him and pushed the werewolves to fight with hir
