“Alpha Ian, I have nothing against you. You can have my sister. But Dane can’t rule this pack. I want to rule it and give the other creature more power. That’s what a hybrid should do,” Griffin said clearing his perception.
The wizards behind him nodded their heads as they said,
“You are injured still we didn’t try to kill you, Alpha Ian. We don’t want to be your enemy. We just want this pack.”
Hearing those people, Dane felt bewildered. He from this world.
Was shocked that they despised him so much that they wanted to remove him
“Ava, you go back with Alpha Ian. You a

my sister. I won’t let the hurt yo-.”
SLAP!
Ava did not let Griffin finish as he raised her hand and slapped him
Everyone was shocked.
The coven members tried to hurt Ava because she slapped their soon–to–be master.
Two men rushed toward her and pushed her behind them.
One was in wolf form, and the other was a wizard.
Dane growled at them while saying, “Don’t dare to hurt her. You will all die at my hands anyway.”
Ian did not say anything, just looked at Griffin and asked,
“Were you the one who planned the attack on Ava a week ago?”
Ava was shocked. Griffin turned his head to him with wide eyes.
Ian rubbed the knife in his hand under his chin. “Bro, I don’t have much time. Just say yes and die.”
His tone was calm as if he was not surprised at all. It was like he was tired and just went back home to sleep.
Ava shook her head, trying to stop Ian. She did not want to kill Griffin, even if he had planned the incident.
Griffin clenched his jaw and replied, “I didn’t do that. These officials did it on their own. I never intended to hurt my sister. They were the officials who planned everything. When Dane punished them and made them leave the coven, the coven members immediately contacted me that day and gave me the proposal to become their master. I did what I felt was right.”
Ava walked toward Griffin and held his hand. “Brother, please don’t do this, Stop the war. Let’s go back and be like before. Why did you even get into this?”
Griffin yanked her hand away. It caused Ava to lose her balance.
Ian grabbed her waist and pulled her close to him.
Ava looked at him, her heart pounding. Her eyes turned blurry, avoiding his dark gaze. Her eyes moved to the wounds on his chest.
Her hands were pressing on his chest; her fingertips were on his bloody skin. She bit her tongue almost until it bled.
lan fixed her gaze on Ava. His eyes were caressing her face.
He would be a laughingstock in the history of Alphas if people learned that he had come to war to help his rival because his mate loved that Alpha.
His gaze slowly moved down to her arm, where he noticed the wound. He brushed his fingers against it.
It was as if the world had stopped around them.

Lowering her head, he licked the skin where the sharp knife had let its mark.
Ava was too shocked to react.

She was astounded by his bravery in joining the war, assisting the ival, and attempting to save lier, despite the fact that he had temporarily lost all of his wolf abilities.
Ava was about to tell him not to try and that she could bear the pain because his wolf abilities would no longer work
However, she froze when she felt her arm was healing.
When Ian moved away from her and released his grip around her waist, everyone could not believe their eyes.
“H–How did you do that?” Griffin asked with shocked eyes.
Ian was injured with a spellbound knife and it stabbed so deep that his wolf would need to recover with hard times. It was impossible for any werewolf to use their wolf’s power and abilities at this time.
Then how could he do that?
Ian’s dark eyes turned to Griffin, and they changed into glowing red, causing him and others to step back.
“What do you all think? Just because Alpha Ian can’t shift, he is weak?”
They felt they were numb in their state, not able to move.
Everyone only knew Alpha Ian had some power in his eyes; even his parents occasionally obeyed him because of the power he possessed.
Today, they could feel it.
They began to scream as they sensed something burning within them.
“My heart!”
A witch screamed, holding her chest and falling to the ground.
He was burning their hearts without ever touching them!
Ava was baffled. She glanced at Dane, who stared at Ian without moving from his place. She also noticed that he was covered in
wounds.
“You are her brother, so I am letting you go. But your people can’t stay alive,” Ian said to Griffin and let out a growl. Without even shifting, his growl was so strong that it broke the circle of witches and wizards.
All the powers they had slowly left them as they fell to the ground, crawling.
