The pain was so severe that Ian’s vision became blurry, his legs gave up, and his heartbeat slowed down to the point where he almost stopped breathing.
He slowly collapsed to the ground. Ronald and Stephen howled when they saw their friend was dying.
They heard groans. But it was not coming from lan but the wolf a few feet away from him.
It was Dane, who was also dying.
His body was nearly drained of blood, and he was shaking in pain.
Beta Bruno came to Dane. He had already shifted back and arrived with his sister, who had also shifted back. Both of them were wearing clothes. Griffin was accompanying them. Griffin admitted that he was responsible for it and promised to help Dane.
As the fire extinguished, the entire forest fell silent.
Fearful, everyone ran away, leaving only the injured and dead there.
At the moment,
Ian and Ava’s parents reached the place. Ava’s friends also followed them there. Next to them was an old witch who appeared to be in a state of shock upon seeing the situation.

The old witch, Kaily walked toward them and said,

“Fire witch? Where can we have a fire witch now?”
“No one can save him except his mate, a powerful fire witch with the ability to heal both his wound and his wolf.”
“Mate?”
Martin looked confused.
Carolina thought Ian had rejected Ava; then who was his mate?
The old witch turned her head and pointed her finger at the woman who was coming in their direction.
“A–Ava? Is she still Ian’s mate?” Carolina said, getting on her feet
Ava’s parents were stunned to learn that.
Ava’s eyes were glowing green as if she were not in her senses. She looked broken and exhausted. Her legs nearly gave up, but she pushed herself to continue walking.
“Ava, see what happened to Ian. He is dying. Save him, Ava. Only you can save him.”
Ava’s gaze moved to Ian, who was closing his eyes tightly in pain. His stomach was oozing blood like a jar that had leaked water.
All the colors on his face had faded. His body was soaked in sweat and blood.

Ian groaned as he tried to clear his view. He turned his head and locked his gaze with Ava:
Everyone saw nothing but pain in his eyes.
“Ava, save Ian.”
Her friends spoke to her from behind.
Carolina stopped next to Martin when she saw Ava approaching lan
Ava’s eyes were fixed on Ian, whose eyes were conveying many things.
“Ava! Dane needs you. Why are you wasting your time over there?” Bruno yelled angrily as he noticed Dane was in a critical situation.
Griffin did everything in his power to save Dane, but nothing was successful. It looked like the Alpha of the White Del Pack was planning to kill Dane while biting him with poison.
Freya rose to her feet and spoke,
“You wanted to be with Dane, right? Have him. You can have him all alone. I will never try to be with him. I will never try to get close to him, I promise. Please save him, Ava.”
Ava’s eyes slowly shifted from Ian to Dane, who was lying on the ground in his wolf form. His eyes were not opened like Jan’s but closed. He looked like a dead body, only breathing slowly.
The old witch looked at Ava and admired her closely. She knew it was her granddaughter.
The sight of her after such a long time made her feel proud. However, she was waiting to see if she could change fate.
Either she would change the prediction of Dane’s death, or she would save her own mate and change what her grandmother had seen in Ian’s eyes when he was a child.
“Your blood has the power to remove their poison. But you can only pick one person. Who would you like to choose, little girl?” Ava heard the old woman. She did not have the opportunity to meet her before, so she had no idea who she was.
For a brief moment, she cast a glance in the direction of the woman, and she felt that she could see right through her.
She immediately looked away and took a deep breath.
In front of Ava, there were two men lying on the ground waiting to be saved.
Who would she choose?
