Tan’s mother, Carolina, was crying while holding lan’s hand. All the way to the hospital, she begged the moon goddess to save his son. But as soon as he closed his eyes, his body became cold.
It was as if she was holding a lifeless body.
“No! My son can’t die.”

She kept screaming on the way to the hospital. Martin, her husband, continued to hug her and try to calm her down.
In reality, Martin was broken on the inside. His eyes were fixed on his son’s body.
All of his life, he treated his son badly. He never pulled him into a ling and asked him what he wanted.
He always referred to him as a bad boy, never questioning why he had become one. He never asked his son what he wanted to be or how he wanted to live his life.
Martin felt guilty for not telling his son that he also loved him. The miscommunication between the father and son was never resolved.
When they arrived at the pack hospital, Ian’s body remained motionless.
Ronald and Stephen yelled at the hospital staff to take their friends into the operating room to treat him, even though they knew he would never recover.
Their chest was in sharp pain for losing their dearest friend. As men, they should be able to control their emotions, but when they saw their friends lying lifeless on the stretcher bed, tears welled up in the corners of their eyes.
Abigail and Debra were in tears as they saw their lovers in that condition. They kept glancing at Ian and felt that Ava had done a really foolish thing.
Didn’t she admit that she loved Ian? Then why did she save Dane instead of Ian?
Ava’s parents were also with them. They chose to come here instead of going to see Dane, whom their daughter had chosen.
One of the chief doctors dashed over and took Ian inside the operation theater.
When Ian was pushing inside the room, Ian’s mother held the doctor’s hand tightly.
“I beg you, Doctor. Please save my son. I only have one child. If I lose him, I will lose my life too.”
The doctor looked at her with his green eyes. He let out a sigh as he cast a glance at Ian’s body.
“He is an Alpha who got poisoned with a knife of black magic. I am a wizard and I can feel the power of the poison from his body.
I am afraid I can not help you. He is on his deathbed. It is too late now.”
After saying that, he took his hand away from Carolina’s.
The door of the operation theater closed. Carolina screamed as she fell to her knees.
“I can’t see his dead body when I am, his mother still alive. Somebody, please save him.”
Everyone was helpless in the situation and mourned in sorrow.
Angela, Ava’s mother, rushed to Carolina to hold her. Carolina yanked her hand away. “Your daughter killed my son. She had the opportunity to save my son. But she took my son’s life.”
Angela hugged her as she shook her head. Carolina held Angela’s arms and asked while sobbing,
“Why? Why did she do that to him?”
The door opened after some time, and the doctor came out, taking off his mask.

“I am sorry, Mr. Dawson. We stitched his wounds, but we can’t take back his heartbeats.”
Carolina’s eyes widened as her head spun around in shock.
That meant his son was no more?

The doctor sighed as he was about to walk past them when the nurses from inside screamed,
“DOCTOR, H–He-”
The doctor rushed into the room when heard their scream. He was astounded to see the heartbeat machine changing the lines. The straight line, which indicated that Ian was dead, was slowly moving up and down.
He could not believe his eyes.
With wide eyes, he shifted his gaze to Ian, who was breathing. His heart, which had stopped just a minute ago, was now beating
steadily.
“Check his blood right now,” he yelled at them.
The nurses understood what he was saying and immediately took his blood.
The doctor was taken aback when they dropped the blood in a tonic and it caught fire.
“I can’t believe this!”
The doctor could not just believe his eyes. He returned his gaze to lan, who appeared to have come back to life.
Outside the room, everyone was curious about what was going on inside. When they heard the nurses scream a minute ago, they felt a glimmer of hope in their hearts.
The doctor emerged and looked at Ronald and Stephen.
“Did your Alpha’s body need blood before?”
Ronald was confused as well as Stephen. Alpha Martin nodded his head and replied,
“Yes. Four years ago, he was in a serious accident and needed blood transfusions. Why? His blood was rare, and the doctors couldn’t get his blood until they found someone to approach to help.”
Ronald pulled out his phone while saying, “Do you need us to find out about the person? Should we call our pack doc-”
The doctor stopped Ronald while saying,
“Was that person a fire witch?”
Everyone was stunned.
“You are lucky. That person saved your son years ago, and today her blood saved him again. Because of her blood, the poison could not affect him. How strange! I am a wizard, but I couldn’t feel it the whole time treating his wound until I tested his blood. She must be very powerful. Only mates‘ blood can be formed into this power that no one could understand, She must be his mate.

Everyone froze when they heard the doctor.
Carolina blinked as she asked the doctor,
