Wendy arched a brow. “There’s no rush. The one who should be nervous is the perpetrator. She’s bound to make her next move soon. The more she does, the more mistakes she’ll make. We just have to wait and watch, then we’ll catch her in the act.”
Horace and Brittany nodded in agreement.
“Okay. We’ll follow your lead.”
Wendy smiled. “Anyway, I should get going. I’ve been staying here for days, and Bella misses me. Time to spend some time with my daughter.”
“Alright. I’ll have the driver send you home.”
“No need. I’m driving myself. I’ll see you again soon.”
