The moment I said that, Nicholas and Shereen went pale.
The patient’s daughter finally spoke up. Pointing at two sets of photos, she said, “My father accepted money from this man to
have Dr. Theresa Wright operate on him. He wanted to use the money to pay for my tuition, but I can’t accept that kind of
money.”
“What are you saying?!” Nicholas tried to slap her, but the police immediately restrained him.
