After Betrayal, I Chose Mynell
Chapter 14 The Fan Meeting
“This won’t be easy… First tell me, is this video real?” Sam said.
7,000 dollars,” Logan said.

“This isn’t about money. If you really hired a ghostwriter, how could I help you falsify the testimony?” Sami replied.
“14, 000 dollars. No more. Sam, I know you can do it. We’ve been friends for so many years; don’t be so stubborn. Why turn down easy money?”
Hearing the offer of one hundred thousand, Sam hesitated but finally gave in to temptation. Leave it to
me
“My fan meeting is in a few days. Can you speed up the process?” Seeing that he had agreed, Logan pressed Judd further.
“Yes. You’ll have it in three days. But what about the plagiarism charges?”
Logan’s expression darkened. “Plagiarism? I never plagiarized. I bought the rights to the song a long time ago. It’s just the rival fandom spreading false rumors.”
After hanging up, Logan leaned back in his chair, a cold smile forming on his lips. Though elegant in appearance, it carried the sharpness of a blade, glinting ominously.
“Naomi, Naomi… You really underestimate me. After surviving in the entertainment industry for so many years, I’ve seen thousands of cyberbullying incidents. Do you think you can take me down with just that? Keep dreaming!”
He casually typed a message to his lawyer handling the plagiarism case.
“Regarding the plagiarism issue, I’m willing to buy the rights to both songs at a high price and negotiate a seulement with Jerry. Whatever the cost, I’ll pay it. Tell erry that someone is deliberately trying to frame me by collecting so–called evidence. He shouldn’t let himself be used as a pawn.”
In Logan’s mind, his success was built on financial backing.
He firmly believed that no one in this world could resist the power of money. With enough of it, he could do anything.
As the days passed and the fan meeting approached, the Internet was abuzz with speculation. Many expected Logan’s endorsements and events to be canceled. But then a statement from him turned the whole situation on its head.
“In response to recent false accusations about me, I am issuing this official statement to clear up any: unnecessary niisunderstandings and confusion…. Regarding the allegations of plagiarism, I had already purchased the rights to Mr. Jerry’s song, giving me permission to modify it and use it commercially. Enclosed is the proof of copyright and screenshots of my conversations with Jerry… The widely circulated video has been altered by Al and is completely fake. The original, unedited video is attached below… I sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused the public. Moving forward; I will continue to improve myself and create better work.”
The post was accompanied by Jerry’s letter of authorization and a new video..

Although the characters in the footage stood in the same positions, their words and lip movements were completely different.
“You were going to sell us the song rights. Why are you going back on your word now?” asked the man in
the video.
“To sell or not to sell is my choice. Your new song has already been released. Without me writing songs for you, your career is doomed! Logan Judd, I want to see you fall apart!”
The female voice in the video spoke viciously. Although her face was not visible, her voice was unmistakably Naomi’s.
This statement completely contradicted Naomi’s previous stance and sparked heated debate online. One faction staunchly defended Logan, while the other insisted that he was a plagiarist who had hired a ghostwriter.
The Internet exploded into a war of words.
“I knew my idol was innocent! The rival fandom fabricated evidence to frame him!”
“Some delusional fans are still blindly defending him? This is just Logan panicking about his endorsements being revoked, so he fabricated this
story as a last resort!”
Seeing the online discourse, Logan let out an almost imperceptible grin of suppressed madness.
Yes, exactly as planned. Sam had forged the video, the lawyer had secured Jerry’s copyright, and the paid commenters had stirred up controversy. Everything was falling into place
In just three days, new gossip would overshadow this scandal and his fan meeting would go on as planned.
But letting Naomi go so easily? That was something I could not accept.
He picked up his cell phone and called Sam.
“Expose Naomi as the one who framed me. Get the paid commentators to dig up her current contact information and address. I’ll add another fifty thousand when it’s done.”
When he hung up. Logan let out a soft chuckle that soon erupted into manic laughter.
“You enjoy cyberbullying, don’t you, Naomi? Let’s see how you like being on the receiving end!”
Tomorrow was the fan convention, and I was determined to go through with it and prove to everyone that I. Logan Judd, was unbreakable.
The next day, Logan appeared on stage wearing a dazzling sequined outfit and flashing his signature commercial smile. The crowd erupted in deafening cheers.
“Let’s welcome singer Logan Judd to our stage with a round of applause!”
The host urged the crowd as cameras flashed and fans screamed in excitement.
“Let’s start with our first Q&A…
Meanwhile, Naomi watched the livestream of Logan’s fan meeting on her coinputer, her expression calm and collected.

Logan had some skills, I had to admit. Le had successfully tested the truth and even turned the tables on her
Thanks to him, my inbar has been flooded with hate messages over the past few days. My normal life had been disrupted by waves of online harassment.
Logan clearly had no intention of letting it go.
But if he thought I would back down, he was sorely mistaken,
With that thought, Naomi dialed her attorney, Mr. Shor
“Mr. Shaw, I need your help. I wrote every song Logan has ever released, and I never charged him a dime. Send him a legal notice immediately revoking his rights to use any of my compositions.”
“The sooner the better. Preferably before his fan convention ends, so the message will have maximum impact.
Mr. Shaw replied promptly, “Understood.”
Naomi hung up, her eyes returning to the livestream. Logan was on stage, tears glistening in his eyes as he addressed his fans.
Thank you all for believing in me during this difficult time. I really appreciate it! Without you I wouldn’t be here today…”
The real show was about to begin.
I wanted to see how long a so–called “musical genius” could keep up the act when he hadn’t written a single song.
