I raised an eyebrow. “Why should I? We’re done.”
Gideon opened his mouth, but a voice cut in, “Selene? You’re still here. Wanna grab
dinner?”
Cassian walked up and saw Gideon. “Who’s this?”
Gideon looked hopeful, but I said flatly, “My ex–husband. Cheated with a ton of women.”
Cassian had heard things about Gideon from Maren. He snorted, “What now? Crawling
back for a second chance?”
Gideon’s face fell at the sarcasm. “This is between me and Selene. Butt out.”
I ignored him and turned to Cassian. “Where are we going to eat? Maren is out tonight.”
Cassian thought for a moment. “How about sashimi platters?”
