Forgotten Luna 3

Forgotten Luna 3

Chapter

Aurora’s POV

Aurora, what did you do to Amara? If anything happens to her, I swear I won’t forgive you!”

Already weak, my legs gave out, and I collapsed against the railing behind me. A nurse quickly rushed over to steady me

Alpha Xavier, Luna just gave birth! If you keep this up, you’re going to kill her!”

Xavier didn’t even seem to hear her. He stormed off, all his concern focused on Amara

The nurse gave me a look full of pity

But there was no emotion left on my pale faceas if ten years of love and hatred had been worn

down to nothing

After the examination, the pack doctor told me to rest and recuperate

And that’s when I finally found out why Xavier had flown into such a rage

The baby was dead. Consumed by grief, Alpha Jareth decided to cast Amara out of the pack and forbid any other pack from accepting her, branding her a rogue

Amara believed I was getting revenge on her and exaggerated the story when she ran to Xavier

That’s what made him lash out at me

But it didn’t stop there. Xavier also stripped me of my shareholder status in the Darkfire Group and

gave Amara my place

To make her happy, he even bought twenty diamonds and had a custom ring madenamed after

her

He threw her a comfort banquet, where Amara proudly flaunted the diamond ring on her finger and

boasted nonstop to the pack members surrounding her

I was never the other woman. If a woman can’t keep her man’s heart, she deserves to be left

behind.”

And unlike the current Lunawho only became Luna for the Darkfire Pack’s wealthI truly love Xavier with all my heart.”

The pack members around her sneered at me and hurled all kinds of insults, demanding I step aside

for Amara

Chapter 3

But all I feltwas irony

After all these years, Xavier’s tricks for wooing a woman hadn’t changed one bit

I remembered how he used to treat me the same way

When he found out how poor my family was and that I had never celebrated a birthday, he gave me

twenty gifts for my twentieth birthday

From children’s books for a oneyearold to a villa for a twentyyearold, he said it was his way of

making up for the suffering I had endured over the past two decades.

I still remembered that night. Under the starlit sky, he held my hand and said-

Aurora, I lost my parents at a young age. From now on, I’ll treat your mother as my own. We’ll

build the happiest family together, and lead the strongest pack.”

I melted under the sincerity in his eyes. Naively, I believed the Moon Goddess had made the right

choice

But that illusion shattered quickly. Once the novelty wore off, Xavier’s heart began to stray, and our

mate bond weakened with each passing day

During one date, just to deliver flowers to his lover, he pushed me into the sea

I swam for miles alone, finally reaching the shore, drenched and barefoot. My feet were raw and bloody, and the scars on my legs never faded

That should have been the moment I realizedthis man was selfish and fickle, incapable of being

faithful to anyone

The contract he made me sign was just an excuse to justify his infidelity

Thinking of that, I looked at Amara and said calmly, I wish you a long and happy life together. May

you have children soon.‘

Amara flew into a rage and knocked over the cake on the table

And right behind her came Xavier, storming in to confront me with fury in his eyes

But I had already left the banquet and didn’t answer his calls. Just like how he used to treat meI calmly blocked him

Then I suddenly rememberedtoday was the day of my mother’s cremation

I explained the situation and requested an early discharge

Aty attending doctor was worried about me but couldn’t change my mind, so he volunteered to go with me

When the staff handed me the urn with my mother’s ashes, I didn’t feel the overwhelming grief I bad imagined

Instead, it felt like the chains that had bound me for the past ten years had finally broken

I let out a soft sigh, thanked the doctor, and returned alone to the pack house to pack my things

The moment I walked into the living room, I saw Xavier and Amara sitting on the sofa

Seeing me, Amara hastily zipped up her dress, but the marks all over her body betrayed just how intense their intimacy had been moments before

I felt no sadness, no anger. As if I hadn’t seen anything, I walked past them expressionlessly and went into the bedroom

By the time I came out, Amara had already left. Xavier sat alone, drinking

When he saw me, he slowly lifted his head. The dim light cast shadows on his face, hiding his expression

Aurora, where were you today?”

None of your business.”

I didn’t want to speak any more than that. But suddenly, Xavier hurled his glass at the wall, shattering it

He strode over to me in a fury

Stop pretending to be so innocent. Don’t think I don’t knowyou were out there with another man. You reek of him!”

Is that it, Aurora? You couldn’t stand being neglected for a few days? Fine. If that’s what you want, I’ll give it to you!”

With that, Xavier violently tore open my clothes, scooped me up, and threw me onto the bed

His actions startled me. I struggled and shouted, Xavier, are you out of your mind? I just gave birth!”

But he had lost all sense of reason. He sank his teeth into my shoulder

I pushed him away with all my strength and slapped him hard across the face

Chapter

Enraged, Xavier didn’t back down. He grabbed the wine glass from the table and hurled it at me

Crash-

A thin stream of blood trickled down from my forehead

Xavier froze for a second, instinctively rushing over to support me

Why didn’t you dodge?”

I staggered back a few steps, trying to speak

But my body couldn’t hold out any longerI collapsed
