I quickly grabbed him he quietened down as soon as my arms wrapped around him Trevor looked gratefully at me “Trevor get your men into position” I said he nodded and walked to the warriors
who remained to protect the safe room.
“Know Kevin I have a little job for you I need you to go inside the safe room and keep an eye on everyone for me while I go and get rid of the bad guys with daddy ok” I said looking him straight in
the eye.
He looked at me for a minute before answering “Ok mummy I wills do what yous want but you have
to bes safe okay” he said hugging me tight with his little hands.
“Okay Kevin” I replied as he moved towards Alek who hugged him tight and gave him a kiss on the
head.
When Kevin was safely in the room and the door was locked Alek and I both moved towards the door
both feeling the need to face the enemy to protect our packs.
Protect pack kill black wolf pack no one will harm what is ours.
I could feel how close I with my wolf both wanted to protect what we had strived so hard to build the
people who deserved none of this aggravation.
As we were close to the clearing I sensed my wolves at the ready I stood in front nodding my head in acknowledgement to my warriors.
Alek came to stand near me both side by side we tensed I could sense the enemy was close.
Before that thought left my mind they had appeared in front of me with my worst nightmare leading
them.
The man who had kept me as a slave to the pack and treated me as dirt.
It was the alpha of the black wolf pack he sneered at us as I looked closely I couldn’t help but feel. like laughing he was pitiful he had already written us off.
He thought that we had no hope of surviving little did he know what he had gotten himself into.
I could tell that some of his pack members did not wish to be here they didn’t look to have bee.. treated well many of them were covered in bruises and dirt.
“Well well well if it isn’t the Amor vita pack long time no see Alek” Alpha James said smiling
towards Alek.

Alek growled viciously at him the sound bounced of the trees as his pack echoed his displeasure.
I took in Alpha James I despised the fact he shared the same name as my James who had belonged to my pack they were complete opposites my James was kind and sweet alpha James was cool and calculating. Even though they shared the same name they were polar opposites in personality.
I was brought back from my thoughts as I heard what else Alpha James had to say.
“Oh so is this bitch your girl then hmmm she has a nice body you have done well” I heard growls from my warriors and saw them crouch as if to attack I new I had to stop this before it escalated.
“Enough” I shouted my pack members all straightened and their growling seized.
It was clear that Alpha James had not recognized me from the look on his face and I couldn’t blame him I was a completely different girl then I once was.
As I looked into his face I could see shock on his face.
“How did you give an alpha command?” he asked confusion clearly written across his face.
“Oh I forgot to introduce myself didn’t I hmmm I guess that’s what happens when you decide to
attack a pack no real time for formalities.” I smirked trying to annoy him which clearly worked
from the look on his face. Before he could ask again I spoke.
“My name is Leila Van Derbergh and I am that Alpha of the Locus pack” I said calmly.
He looked at me than started laughing I raised an eyebrow at his stupidity was he really giving my
pack more reasons to want him dead he definitely had a few screw loose in that head of his.
I saw as realisation hit him that no one else was laughing with him he took in the stance of my pack
who had started to growl threateningly all their gazes locked on him as they moved closer to me as
if for protection showing their loyalty to me in the same action.
The blood had drained from his face as he realised what he had done.
“Locus pack……….. strongest pack………….Leila………… Van Derbergh…………. Alpha “he whispered as if
to himself.
I knew from those simple words he remembered who I was what he had done and what he know
faced.
I guess he wasn’t that confident anymore going by the way his adams apple bobbed up and down in his throat as he gulped.
I felt powerful in that instance know it was time for him to learn exactly who he had messed with to
