They were aware that Yale had recently recommended a friend to Johnny. However, Yale hadn’t provided any further details, so they weren’t fully
aware of the situation.
What happened with Adele today was actually similar to something that had occurred last year.
Last year, the girl involved was the mistress of one of the company’s senior executives. She was sweet–faced, confident, and charming.
She claimed to be a graduate student from a top domestic university with a solid foundation in the field.
However, upon further questioning, it turned out that she was completely clueless, even about basic professional terms.
In the end, not only did they doubt whether she had ever attended a university, but it was also suggested that she might not have even finished high
school!
Now the same situation had repeated itself, and Johnny had dismissed a colleague with such an impressive resume to make room for someone like
Adele.
It was understandable why Yale was angry.
So, not only Yale, but others too felt that Johnny was mixing personal feelings with professional matters.

Johnny nodded and turned to Adele. “Since Yale is stepping down, could you take over his remaining tasks?”
Adele had no objections. “Sure.”
She then confidently addressed the others. “In the future, I look forward to working with you all.”
The others smiled politely but didn’t seem overly enthusiastic. They were hoping that Adele really had some skills, as they didn’t want to be left with all the work.
As for Simon, who had worked with Yale, he looked somewhat troubled but could only respond with politeness, “The materials are all here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.”
Adele replied, “Alright, thank you.”
Simon thought, “Well, at least her attitude is good.”
After leaving Cole Corporation, Yale immediately called Julia.
“Adele started working at Cole?”
“Yes.” Yale found it strange. “You didn’t know?”

What surprised her even more was that after leaving, Adele didn’t consider further education but instead used connections to get into another
company.
Julia had to admit that she didn’t have the vision or the ambition for a better future.
Yale asked, “Julie, what are you planning to do next?”
“I have an official car racing competition coming up. I’ll need to spend quite a bit of time practicing. I’ll consider work after a while.”
“Oh, I see…” Yale knew that Julia could do anything.
Sometimes, he wondered how she managed to juggle so many activities without losing her professional knowledge..
However, considering how talented Julia was, he felt that she was different from others. Since she dared to do these things, she must have had a clear plan in her mind.
Meanwhile, in Collins Group, Franklin was flipping through documents without lifting his head. He said to Chad, “Get me a cup of coffee.”

This was the first time Sherry personally made coffee for Franklin. She was both excited and nervous.
