In just a few seconds, ten consecutive slaps landed on Eunice’s face. Everyone in the room, including Herbert and Jacob, was stunned into silence.
They simply couldn’t believe what they were seeing, and from the moment Zoe started to the moment she finished, they hadn’t had time to react
Zoe, a girl who had returned from a small town and was supposed to be doing everything in her power to ingratiate herself with the Evans family. had not only slapped Eunice but also lectured her with words that made perfect sense.
This left everyone in the room in shock.
Zoe had mentioned that if Eunice lost her status as the heiress of the Evans family and went to any corner of the world, her tears and whining would be worthless. She had said a lot.
However, everyone had assumed that Zoe, being from a small town, wouldn’t have the sophistication to say such things. It was as if she had experienced a world far more brutal than the one they knew.
Before anyone could process this further, Zoe bent down slightly and grabbed Eunice’s hair, forcing her head to tilt back toward the ceiling
Up close, Eunice’s face, swollen and bruised from the slaps, was streaked with tears of terror. Her makeup, mixed with sweat and tears, looked particularly messy.
At this moment, she didn’t look like a noble young lady at all; she looked more like a vagrant.
“So, are you going to apologize or not?” Zoe pressed, her tone icy cold, as if she would kill Eunice if she didn’t agree.
Eunice instinctively thought Zoe was a madwoman, someone who clearly hadn’t received a proper education. ‘Damn it, she really is a vulgar girl from a small town, Eunice cursed in her mind.
With everyone watching, Eunice had no choice but to find a way to save face. She cried loudly and apologized to Zoe. “I’m sorry, Zoe, I was wrong. I’ll definitely change. I promise I’ll never do this again.”
Seeing Eunice crying so pitifully, Zoe felt no sympathy whatsoever. She simply released her cold grip and turned away, showing no further interest.
After being so publicly humiliated, Eunice couldn’t bear to stay any longer. She ran out, tears streaming down her face.

Zoe turned and leaped to Zack’s side, where he still lay on the ground.
Everyone in the room gasped. They remembered that this was fight to the death. ‘Docs Zoe really intend to kill Zack? Would she really dare? they all thought.
As this realization dawned on them, their eyes widened in shock.
Zoe took slow steps toward Zack. Just as she was about to grab his neck, a voice rang out.
“Wait, Zoc. Know your limits. You’ve already won this fight to the death. For my sake, let him go.” A middle–aged man with an ordinary appearance and a gentle smile, lacking any imposing presence, stepped out from the crowd. His tone was kind.
The crowd erupted in another wave of murmurs, surprised that the speaker was Wilfrid Bloor, the principal of Highcrest University.
This was the first time Zoe had met Wilfrid, but he was not unfamiliar. His photo had always been displayed on the bulletin board at Highcrest University.
Perhaps considering various factors, Zoe remained silent for only two seconds before she actually released her grip.
Upon seeing that Zoe had accepted, Wilfrid’s face still wore a smile, but his tone carried a hint of sternness. “Thank you, Zoe. I will certainly give Zack a severe lesson in the future. I will make sure he never makes such an unreasonable wager with a student again.
Everyone thought that with Wilfrid’s intervention, this farce would finally come to an end. However, in the next second, Zoe made a shocking
move.
Without a word, Zoe stepped forward, lifted her foot, and kicked Zack’s knee with a heavy thud. Two dull sounds followed, and Zack’s leg was
broken
Everyone in the room was stunned by this scene.
In the next moment. Zoe looked up at Wilfrid with a cold, proud gaze. “I can spare his life, but he has to pay a price. Mr. Bloor, since you personally pleaded for him. I’ll let him live for your sake.
“But if he ever does this again, I will definitely kill him”

Chapter 58
Zoe’s voice was crisp and decisive, her expression calm. Everyone in the room gasped in shock.
Even Wilfrid was taken aback for a moment. Before anyone could say anything, Zoe had already turned around and left with a proud stride.
Naturally, there were still some people in the room who were annoyed, displeased, or dissatisfied with Zoe. But at this critical moment, no one dared to stand up.
Even though Wilfrid had pleaded for Zack, Zoe had still crippled one of his legs while he was unconscious. No one dared to voice their discontent.
At the back of the gymnasium, a handsome young man wearing a black baseball cap and with his head slightly lowered was irresistibly drawn to Zoe’s actions, though no one knew it.
Despite being her deskmate, Philip had never taken Zoe seriously. He hadn’t expected her to have such strength.
“Zoe has shown remarkable abilities recently. She might even be stronger than Eunice, whose reputation follows mine, Philip thought, becoming increasingly interested in Zoe.
With Wilfrid handling the aftermath, Zoe didn’t stay any longer to face criticism.
