Francesca snorted, turning to the side and raising her leg, just like she had done to Hannah earlier. Ellen tripped over it, stumbling before crashing to the ground.
As she fell, she reached out and grabbed the tablecloth, ripping it off and spilling soup all over herself.
Hannah screamed and lunged to grab Francesca’s hair, but Francesca quickly shoved her back into the chair. Then, without a second thought, she poured a bottle of red wine right over Ellen’s head.
“I’ll wash that mouth of yours and your brain,” Francesca said coolly.
Ellen was beyond embarrassed, cursing furiously. “Bitch, are you crazy? How dare you treat me like this?!”
“Throw them out! And make sure they’re blacklisted,” Francesca ordered.
The security guards came right away, hauling them out. Francesca and Nina didn’t even glance back as they were led to the VIP lounge by the manager.
“As expected, the Landon family is full of trash. How did you put up with them for three years?” Nina asked, still angry.
Francesca didn’t seem bothered. “Don’t sweat it. If they try this again, I’ll show them what it means to cross the line.”
Nina glanced at her with a mix of concern and admiration. “You’re way more chill than I’d be. I can’t even imagine what you went through with them.”
Francesca smiled casually. When she first married, Ellen was always changing the house rules, and it was common for her to “accidentally” spill coffee on Francesca.
If her brothers had any idea what life had really been like for her, Benedict would have been bankrupt by
now.
After eating, Francesca and Nina headed to the parking lot to do some shopping. As they reached the car, they saw Ellen getting out of Benedict’s car, crying. Francesca had seen this routine too many times over the
years to care anymore.
She stood there, hands in her pockets, eyes cold and distant, acting like they weren’t even there.
Benedict’s face darkened as he stared at Francesca. He was waiting for her to explain, but she wasn’t about to speak up first.
Benedict didn’t know how to face his ex–wife. To his surprise, Francesca didn’t even bother speaking to him or looking his way.
“You don’t have anything to say?” Benedict asked, reaching for her, but Francesca stepped aside, her expression cold as she glanced up at him.
“I’ve got nothing to say. I kicked them out,” she answered.
Hannah smiled smugly. “See? I told you. Now do something to her!”

“You’re not going anywhere!” Ellen snapped, grabbing Francesca’s arm. Normally, people were too intimidated by her to do anything but flatter her, so she wasn’t used to being challenged like this.

“Mr. Landon, are you really gonna stand up for them?” Francesca didn’t like Ellen’s hand on her. Her gaze turned icy as she looked at Benedict.
He frowned, clearly uncomfortable. “How do you want to handle this?”
“Make her regret it and kick her out of Rediff City!” Ellen barked.
“Really?” Francesca smirked. This was probably why they brought Benedict here. It wasn’t the first time, and even those tough days were over, it still left a bad taste in her mouth.
Back when she was part of the Landon family, no matter what Ellen and Hannah did, she always ended up apologizing and walking away. Right or wrong never mattered to them.
She couldn’t blame anyone but herself for letting them walk all over her. But now, she wasn’t giving anyone the satisfaction.
Francesca shrugged off Ellen’s grip and said coldly, “I can kick anyone out of my restaurant. If you’ve got a problem with it, Mr. Landon, go ahead and complain. The number is on the billboard.”
Nina, already furious, added, “Don’t think you can just get away with bullying people because you’re part of the Landon family.”
“What bullying? Explain,” Benedict said, his gaze cold as he turned toward Nina.
She instinctively shrank back, hiding behind Francesca. After all, Benedict was the untouchable big shot of Rediff City, and she was a little scared of him.
