Stanley paused for a moment. He had bought a gift for Wendy, but nothing for Jessica.

Jessica seemed disappointed, but she let it go, quickly shifting her attention. “Anyway, I’ve arranged something fun. I’ve set up a trip with Wendy. In two days, you, me, Wendy, and Nathan will all go to a resort for a spa getaway.”

“Mm–hmm. She’s dating Nathan now. She’s his girlfriend, so it’ll be a double date.”
