Inside the apartment, Stanley gently placed Wendy on his soft bed in the master bedroom.
Wendy remained sound asleep, not stirring at all. She rolled over and settled into a comfortable position, continuing her peaceful slumber.
Stanley reached out and lightly pinched her cheek, his voice low as he chuckled, “Seriously? You didn’t wake up at all? It’s like you’re a koala.”
