“Naomi, once you walk out of here, don’t even think about coming back!”

Just before leaving the Judd family estate, Naomi faintly heard Logan’s voice ringing out behind her.
She couldn’t help but laugh a little. Of everyone in the Judd family, Logan was the last person qualified to
criticize her.
Logan–her Logan–was a so–called insical genius whe went viral online.
In her past life, every single one of Logan’s songs had been ghostwritten by someone online named “Naomi.” That “Naomi” was her.
Logan only rose to fame because of the breakout song she wrote for him–expertly arranged and lyrically powerful, it instantly caught the public’s attention. Every song he released after that blew up, and people praised him as a “young prodigy,” but in truth, every one of those songs had come from Naomi’s hands
And wh
did she get in return after helping Logan so much?
Not even a word of thanks. When she was framed and imprisoned, Logan didn’t speak up for her. He event kicked her while she was down–helping push her toward death.
In this life, since she had already severed ties with the Judd family, there was no need to show Logan any of the leniency she had in her past life.
With that in mind, Naomi picked up her phone and posted a brief statement online.
“Hi everyone, this is Naomi. After careful thought, I’ve decided to make this announcement. Due to some personal matters at home, I’ve been feeling mentally and physically exhausted. So I’ve decided to take a break from songwriting and composing. I sincerely apologize to all my fans and the artists I’ve collaborated with. Thank you for your understanding
Though Naomi’s account didn’t have as many followers as Logan’s, over the years she had still amassed a large and loyal group of fans who truly loved her music
The moment they saw Naomi’s post, fans were upset but deeply supportive.
“You’ve worked hard, sweetheart. Take a break–come back when you’re ready!”
“I’ll always support you, Naomi. Take care of yourself.”
“Waiting patiently for your return.”
But on the other side, Logan completely lost it when he saw the news.
“What? Naomi said she’s taking a break? No way!” Logan slammed the table and pointed at his manager in a panic.
His manager looked equally rattled, “We already announced the new album online. Fans have been waiting for it for a long time. If Naomi doesn’t deliver the new song in the next few days, we’re going to face serious backlash
Logan frowned hard. “Can we still get another ghostwriter in time?”

“It’s too late! The company’s been pushing hard, and if we don’t release the song by the day after tomorrow, we’ll have to pay breach–of–contract penalties!
Logan wasn’t the only one pacing nervously–his manager was also beside himself.
Finished!
“Why would Naomi suddenly stop like this? She’s always been fine. Do you think it’s because we never paid her?”
The manager thought for a moment and nodded. “All these years, she’s written countless songs for us for free, just to support us. It’s probably about money.”
As soon as he heard that, Logan’s eyes lit up. “If it’s about money, we can fix that. Go talk to her, negotiate a price. Just get her to finish the new song within the next couple of days.”
“Got it.”
The manager didn’t waste a second and immediately sent Naomi a private message.
“Ms. Naomi, I’m Logan’s manager. Thank you so much for your generous support all this time. We heard you recently announced you’ll be stepping away from songwriting. If possible, could you make an exception and help Logan finish his new album? We’ll be sure to pay you fairly this time.”
When Naomi saw the message, she raised her eyebrows
She figured Logan would come crawling back–but she hadn’t expected it to happen so quickly.
So his new album really was that urgent. And without her, there was no way he’d pull it off. He couldn’t even write his own music.
In her past life, maybe she would’ve said yes for the sake of their blood ties. Maybe she would’ve kept quietly writing songs for him behind the scenes.
But in this life, Naomi had no intention of playing the fool again.
She typed out a clean, airtight reply.
“My statement made it clear–I’m stepping away from songwriting for now. This has nothing to do with payment.
“From now on, I won’t be writing songs for any artist.”
Not long after, another message came through immediately.
“Naomi, you have to help Logan finish his new song. No matter what you charge, we’ll pay it. His studio already promoted the album online–if we can’t release a new song in the next two days, Logan’s future will take a serious hit.”
“We really appreciate all the support you’ve given us. If you truly care about Logan, please don’t let his
future be affected.”
Reading the message, Naomi actually laughed out loud
Like attracts like. Logan’s manager was somehow even thicker–skinned than Logan himself.
She had already written so many songs for Logan for free, and they still had the audacity to beg for more

-now resorting to emotional blackmail, threatening her with Logan’s so–called future.
Please. What did Logan’s future have to do with her?
She couldn’t care less.
“Going abroad. Not writing anymore.”
She had barely hit send when Logan fired back immediately, shouting in all caps.

“Studying abroad is nothing compared to Logan’s career! You seriously don’t know what matters more? Logan’s been promoting his album for three days online–do you even understand the kind of damage you’ll cause if there’s no new song?
“We asked you to write songs because we recognized your talent! Don’t be so ungrateful!”
“There are people lining up for miles just for a chance to write for Logan–begging to get in, and they don’t even make the cut!”
Naomi read his words and laughed.
So Logan had finally dropped the act.
She was more than happy to watch him spiral in useless rage.
“You didn’t consult me before publicly promoting your album. That’s your problem. If Logan’s career tanks because of it, that’s on him.”
When Logan saw that short response, his blood pressure skyrocketed. He roared, practically losing his mind.
“What do you mean it has nothing to do with her! How could Naomi say something so shameless! I never realized she was this kind of person!”
