Chapter 12 Logan’s Arrogant
Naomi stopped in her tracks and turned around with a grin.

“Logan, so far you haven’t even called me ‘sister,‘ and you haven’t softened your stance in the slightest. Do you really think that is the right attitude for someone asking for a favor?”
“Naomi, you have been nothing but heartless to the Judd family. What right do you have to expect me to call you my sister? You’ve ruined Sarah’s life, sabotaged Jeremy’s company, and now you’ve set your sights on my career. And you still want me to be nice to you? Dream on! Let me tell you, Naomi! The ‘Evanesce account was created solely for you to write new songs for me! Our fates are intertwined! If I fall, you won’t have it easy either! Logan shouted, his voice filled with indignation, completely oblivious to his current predicament.
Hearing this, the last trace of expectation in Naomi’s eyes slowly faded..

Naomi’s words hit Logan’s sore spots one by one. His eyes burned with anger as he snapped back.
“Naomi, do you really think you have wings now? You dare to refuse my request? All this talk – what you really want is to make the whole Judd family suffer, isn’t it? I’m telling you, you have to write the three days or I’ll expose you online for being disloyal, selling songs but deliberately withholding the final
song in draft to ruin an artist’s career!”
Naomi had no intention of wasting another word on him. She turned and walked out of the Judd house. leaving Logan’s screams far behind her.
Before coming, Naomi had been careful enough to record their entire conversation with a micro–camera.
I will keep that evidence safe. This time I will not be manipulated like in my previous life.
The moment Naomi walked out, Logan’s eyebrows furrowed.
I had assumed that she would obediently do as I asked. Who would have thought that she would change so drastically and even dare to argue with me?
It really seemed like she didn’t want to write me a song anymore. I needed a backup plan.
Just then, his manager’s call came through.

Three days passed quickly. Of course, Naomi sent Login nothing. She had even blocked his contact information because he kept calling to harass and pressure her.
She was curious to see how Logan’s career would fare without her help this time.
A few days later, Logan’s new song was released on all major music platforms. Thanks to the company’s pre–launch promotion, the song immediately sparked Heated discussions upon release and quickly climbed the charts,
“Logan’s New Song” dominated the top spots on both the music and trending charts,
His rabid fans flooded the comment sections with praise.
“Ahhhhh! My idol’s new song! No one can miss this masterpiece! First in line to get the album!
“Been playing it on loop for days! I told everyone I know about it!”
“Who gets me? I heard this song in a store, and I had recorded it!”

Seeing these comments, Naomi frowned slightly.
What was going on? I had never given Logan a song before. Did he buy one from another ghostwriter?
Well, that made sense. If his company’s team was strong enough and the promotion was done right, even a terrible song could gain traction. Add to that the mindless devotion of his fan base, and he had managed to gain another wave of followers
Wait a minute… Why did this melody sound so familiar?
As a songwriter with years of experience, Naomi immediately sensed that there was something wrong with both the melody and the lyrics. They bore a striking resemblance to a certain obscure foreign song-

She quickly opened her laptop and searched her memory. Soon, her efforts paid off she found the original song on an international platform.
Logan’s new song had a 70% similarity to it. He had plagiarized it!
A slow smile formed on Naomi’s lips.
Unless someone was intimately familiar with both domestic and international music, this kind of plagiarism would be hard to detect. Even for me, it had taken some time to track depon the evidence.
It looked like the ghostwriter Logan had hired had backfired on him this time
Naomi immediately contacted the original artist, Jerry, and sent him Logan’s song.

Attached to the message was a side–by–side audio comparison of the two songs. Anyone with ears could hear the undeniable similarities.
