The group of people that the girl chose and gathered there agreed to play the game. They chose an empty hall room to play the game.
Ava did not want to play the game, but Luke persuaded her. He said he wanted to enjoy the party with her. How could Ava forget that Luke was a party freak?
Abigail and Debra were thrilled because there were no dares and none of their friends would have to bear any consequences.
As Stephen and his friends got up from the couches to move on, Ava did her best to ignore lan.
However, when he walked past her, his arm brushed against hers, causing her to jerk inside.
Luke grabbed her hand and asked,
“Are you alright?”
“Y–Yeah.”
Luke noticed her changing behavior, but he did not say anything to her.
After trailing Ronald, they walked into a room filled with couches.
But everyone chose to sit on the floor.
Everyone sat on the floor and placed a bottle in the center.
Ava noticed her friends patting a place for her to sit. Ava lowered her dress and sat down, folding one leg over the other.
She wished she had not worn this dress. She had to sit uncomfortably on the floor because if she moved slightly, the people in front of her could see between her thighs.
She sat embarrassedly, hands on her lap to conceal her thighs.
Her gaze was drawn to Ian, who had come to sit in front of her on the opposite side. He was facing her. She assumed he purposefully chose that place.
Ian did not look into her eyes. Instead, his eyes were on her bare thighs.
She gritted her teeth in rage.
‘What a shameless man!‘ she thought.
However, the next thing that Ian did really shocked her and others around them.
Ian rested his back against a couch. So, after looking at her dress, he turned his head and reached out his hand to grab a small pillow from the couch behind him.
He tossed it to Ava and said,
“Sit comfortably.
Everyone was shocked by his actions and gentle words.
Ava immediately placed the pillow on her lap and sat properly.
She felt bad for mistaking his intention when he looked at her thighs.

Ava glanced at Luke, who was staring at the pillow. Meanwhile, Abigail and Debra’s jaws dropped.
Everyone started to get excited when Ronald spun the bottle
Stephen was the one in front of the bottle when it stopped spinning.
“Have you ever been in love?” A girl asked.
“No, I don’t trust in love. But maybe things will turn around if I find someone who can look out for me and my attitude.” Stephen answered.
Girls and boys cheered him as they liked his answer. Ava smiled at her brother. She hoped he would soon find the girl he truly wanted.
Next, the bottle stopped in front of Abigail.
It was Debra who raised her hand to ask her a question. Abigail glared at her and shook her head.
“You can’t question me. No, no,”
With a sly smile, Debra questioned,
“Are you crushing on someone over here?”
Abigail did not look at anyone. Debra laughed at her. “Come on, babe. If you can’t answer, you have to drink the whole bottle of the whiskey.”
“Have you lost your mind?”
“Yes, I have,” Debra replied.
Ava patted Abigail’s shoulder. “Just answer her. You don’t need to take names.”
“Yes, I do have a crush on someone here,” Abigail replied.
Ava was taken aback. Glancing around, she tried to figure out who it might be. She was unaware of it. Abigail would have to ask later. But then she thought when Abigail wanted to share it with her, she would. So she should not press her for anything to spill.
When it was Luke’s turn, Abigail asked him,
“Is it true that you will soon propose to Ava to become your girlfriend? Do you really like her?”
Ava gave Abigail a look. Abigail winked at her.
Luke chuckled and nodded his head.
“That’s true, I will. I really like her. She is just the perfect girl for me.”
Ava heard Luke’s answer, but her eyes went to Ian. Ian’s eyes darkened as he stared at Luke, seemingly intent on killing him.
Ava quickly averted her gaze from him and grabbed Luke’s hand. She recalled Ian beating the boys when she went with him to rescue Stephen. She could not get over how ruthlessly he could beat others.
She was concerned for Luke.
Luke caressed her hand and leaned close to her ear. He whispered to her,
“Are you impressed with my response? Well, that’s true.”

Ava pursed her lips and lowered her head. She did not know what to say.
She began to feel like she was not doing right with Luke. Did she really him in the same way he liked her? Or
did she just use him to move on in her life? Would there be any future for this kind of relationship?
“Ava! It’s your turn!”

She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Abigail’s voice. She noticed the bottle had stopped in front of her.

The girl who was with Ian was about to question Ava. But Ian cut her off and asked,
“Have you ever loved someone?”
Everyone was shocked when Ian mentioned love. They could not believe what magic had done Ava to him that he began to speak in the language that he had never wanted to learn.
Ava glanced at Ian, who was looking into her eyes.
Ava’s heart was pounding.
She felt Luke patting her hand. She turned to look at Luke. He was aware of her past.
“It’s okay to answer. You don’t need to give him the name to satisfy his ego.
Ava realized that he was right. She could just tell the truth and leave the name behind. It was not like she was still in love with him.
She could feel Ian’s gaze under her when she was looking at Luke.
She took a deep breath and locked her gaze with Ian, then replied,
“Yes,”

Ian looked mad. His eyes were as sharp as knives. He did not wait for a second before asking her another question.
“Who is he?“!
