“Yes, now you can’t run away from me,” Ian replied, winking at her.
Her mouth dropped open in surprise. “Have you gone crazy You took me outside of our city! For what? Just to get you a present?”
With a look of complete innocence, he nodded his head. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She was losing her mind.
How could she not have realized how far they had come? How long did she ride with him on the bike? Was she so engrossed in his alluring features that she did not notice how far they had come?
Ian dragged her into the shopping mall. “Stop overthinking You are with me. So I will take you back to your home. No need to worry
Struggling to calm herself, Ava inhaled deeply.
Following a brief glance at his hand, which was holding hers, she turned her attention to his face.
He removed his sunglasses and folded them before tucking them into his t–shirt.
He was perfect.
Unconsciously, she reached out to her hair and combed it with her fingers, thinking that she looked terrible with her messy hair. She did this because she was embarrassed by how she looked.
He turned to look at her and stopped walking.
“Let me set it again.”
He did not even wait for her reply and started to comb her hair. Her eyes were fixed on him. He looked serious when he was setting her hair.
She heard the sounds of chuckles. She took a quick glance over her shoulder and saw that the girls were covering their mouths while they were looking at Ian.
Ava rolled her eyes, realizing that he had his fans everywhere.
She pushed his hand away from her head and started to walk ahead.
“Hey! Wait. What’s wrong?” he asked, pacing to walk next to her.
“Nothing.”
He bent toward her ear and asked,
“Are you jealous?”
She stopped and turned to look at him. “Why would I?”
He smirked at her. “All the girls are crazy over me. So I thought-
She cut him off and said,
“You are thinking too much.”
He furrowed his brows and muttered,
”
“Why do I have the feeling that something happened last night? You seem less angry.‘

Her eyes widened, and she immediately turned her head away from him.
“Nothing happened. Now let’s go to the store where you want to buy your present. We have to go back.” Ian held her hand again and walked ahead. She glanced at their hands and sighed.
She did not pull away her hand; instead, she followed him.
Ian led her to a store. The entire interior of the store was made of wood. It was a massive store.
They walked into the store, and Ava was astounded by the decorations.

The employees in the store bowed to Ian as if they knew he was their future Alpha.
Ian released Ava’s hand and looked at her.
“You can buy whatever you want. This store is owned by our royal designer. He lives here, so we come here whenever we need to buy something.”
Ava looked at him with wide eyes. “Royal designer?”
“Yes, Royal designer. Look, come this way. We have many collections for women,” a young man stated.
Ava shook her head. “No, we want something for him.‘
She said and was about to turn to Ian. But she saw he had already walked in the other direction.
Ava followed him, not knowing why he was going there.
While trailing behind him, she looked at the collections there.
There were so many bracelets, necklaces, and many accessories of different stones.
“Miss, you can try these earrings. It will suit you,” the man said, pointing to an earring.
Hearing the man, Ian turned around and looked at the man.
The man was stunned, fearing he had offended the Alpha’s son.
Ian walked back to Ava and took hold of Ava’s hand, then said to the man,
“She has her own choice to choose what she wants. You don’t have to tell her what will suit her.”
The man lowered his head. “I’m sorry, sir.”
Ava glanced at Ian, who was glaring at the man. She did not know why suddenly he got mad.
“What’s wrong with you? He only recommends something she mumbled, pulling him forward.
“He should know who you have come with,” he muttered, looking away from the man.
Ava gulped when he started to walk forward with her.
“By the way, why are we here? Shouldn’t we go to the side where they will lead us? We came here to buy you a present,” she said in a low tone.
He did not respond to her and turned to the left side. Ava was awestruck when she saw the chains and lockets there. The designs were breathtakingly beautiful and unique. Her attention was drawn to a pendant.
Ian noticed her gaze and let go of her hand. She approached the glass box to look inside and see the pendant. She

examined the pendant closely.
A pair of wolves stood near one another, seemingly uniting it.
She stared at the pendant for a while. She had never seen a more beautiful design before. The wolves looked different from each other. The male wolf looked powerful, and the female wolf looked soft. Both of their heads were touching each other, which was a clear indication of the love that they shared.
Ava felt a breath on her neck as she heard Ian’s voice.
“Did it capture your eyes?”
She turned around and found him very close.
“I–It’s beautiful,” she mumbled, stepping aside from him
He stood up straight and looked at the female employee. “We are buying this.”
“That is just one piece. You will never find it anywhere else,” the woman said.
Ava was surprised to hear that. She took another look at the pendant, this time with great care because she was now aware of its rarity.
Ian nodded his head to the woman and muttered,
“That’s why I brought her here.”
