The girls surrounded Ian with screaming. They tried to hug him. Through a glare, he pushed them away from him. They took a few steps back, but they did not move away from him because they were aware of his demeanor. He was an arrogant boy, and why would he not be? He would soon become the leader of their pack and their head Alpha.
Ava noticed how girls wanted to get close to Ian. She was not pleased with it.
She cast a quick glance at their hands. Every single one of them was wearing black bands. It indicated that they all supported Ian, who had a black sports car.
Her gaze shifted away from them, and she took a quick look at her hands. She had nothing on her hands and was not wearing anything. In fact, she did not even have any idea about these car races. Did that mean she could not support him properly?
She glanced over at Ian for a moment. A group of young men approached him. They handed him a bundle of money. She recalled that Luke had mentioned that Ian had been gambling in car races and making money from it.
She gulped, looking at Ian. She was scared of these things.
It was not a good thing. The race was an even more dangerous thing itself.
She was too nervous to go to Ian. How would she approach him?
She could see how he was glaring at the boys when they said something to him. He gave a slight shake of his head, and they walked away from him.
At that moment, Ian turned his head, and his eyes locked with hers.
She was about to approach him, but he turned around and headed to another side. It looked like he did not want to see her.
Thinking that he was upset with her, Ava bit the bottom of her lip.
She walked ahead and decided to go talk to him.
While passing the people, she felt very uncomfortable. Every single boy appeared to be lustful, as if they were waiting for the opportunity to take girls with them.
Suddenly she heard loud music playing. She turned her head to get a better look at what was going on over there.
She saw people dancing there while drinking. All of the kids belonged to wealthy families. They were here with their expensive cars.
As Ava was watching them while walking, she lost Ian from her sight.

Upon coming to that realization, she paused for a moment. She looked around and could not find Ian.
She felt lonely in the crowd.
‘Ian? Where are you?‘
With a disheartening look, she walked forward.
“Are you looking for someone?”
Ava turned around and found the tattooed girl. She nodded her head and replied,
“Have you seen Ian?”
The girl’s brows rose up. “Do you want to meet him personally? Girl, I can tell you are innocent. He is a bad boy. Are you aware of it?”
It was like an alarm from the girl to Ava. As though she wanted to alert her to stay away from
Ian.
“I know him,” Ava said.
“He is well–known to everyone. Girls are madly in love with him. But let me tell you. He is dangerous. Do you still want to put yourself in danger despite knowing this? Girls are all here only for him. He always picked one and threw them away the very next day.”
Ava inhaled as she was aware of it. But she also knew that Ian had tried to prove his love for
her. He claimed that he loved her.
Now, even though she was afraid of her broken heart, she wanted to give him an opportunity.
Her voice trailed off, “He has changed.”
The tattooed girls stared at her for a while then broke into laughter.
“Not bad. A good girl is in love with a bad boy! Well, hi. I am Monica, the organizer of these car races,” the girl said, extending her hand to Ava.
Ava shook her hands with her and replied,
“Ava.”
Monica looked around and stopped her gaze at a place.
“You can go and sit there if you don’t feel good here. Maybe you can find Ian from there.”
Upon taking a quick glance at the location, Ava noticed that there were a few empty cars parked there. She thanked Monica and walked toward the cars.

She sat on the bonnet of a car while looking at the boys and girls who were enjoying the night.
She wanted to see Ian and talk to him.
When she was busy in her thoughts, she heard a sound beside her.
She turned her head and was stunned.
Ian was there, and he was leaning against the car that was next to hers. He lit a cigarette and closed the lighter.
After taking a long, deep puff, he turned his attention to her.
Moving the cigarette away from his lips, he asked,
“What are you doing here?”
The rhythm of Ava’s heartbeat began to quicken. She could not keep eye contact for a long time. Her gaze averted, and she responded,
“I heard from Stephen that you are participating in a car race.‘
“So?”
His question sounded so obvious as if she had no connection with it.
Her eyes briefly met his. He was wearing all black. Combined with the black jacket and black boots, the black leather pants exude an air of darkness.
She realized that she had matched with him tonight.
She noticed his eyes were moving from her face and moved down to her dress. She averted her gaze from him, feeling shy.
His eyes were unmoved on her body for a while. It was like he could not just tear his eyes off of her.
He bit the cigarette between his teeth, making his mind distract from her.
After looking away from her, Ian said,
“Go back to your house. This is not the right place for you.”
