In the morning,
Ava’s eyes were opened by a ringtone. She reached out her and to the nightstand and grabbed her phone.
She saw it was Debra’s call. She immediately sat up as if she felt defa vu.
She remembered everything that had happened last night.
She was baffled. Was she dreaming?
Just like this, Debra called her yesterday to wake her up. Was it just a dream?
She hurriedly received the call and asked,
“Was I having a dream?”
“What?” Debra asked with a confused tone.
“What day is it today? The match! Is today the basketball match?”
Debra took a pause before replying,
“Of course. That’s why I was calling you. Where are you, Ava? You are late.”
Hearing Debra, Ava’s heart trembled.
So everything was a dream?
‘The kiss, the confession, the drive, and the feelings–was everything just a dream?‘ she thought.
She lowered her head as her mood turned dull. Her heart became heavier.
However, right after that moment, she heard Debra’s laugh
“Why are you laughing?” she asked.
“Silly, I was kidding with you. You were not dreaming. By the way, what happened yesterday that made you think it was a dream?”
The heaviness unwrapped Ava’s heart. Her eyes lit up with happiness, and her lips curled into a bright smile. “So it was not a dream?”
“No, honey.”
“Oh,” Ava murmured with a smile.
She rubbed her forehead and let out a long breath.
“Abigail and I came outside, so we were thinking of hanging out. She is beside me. Now talk.”
Debra handed the phone to Abigail.
“Ava?”
“Abigail.”
“Are you free today?”
Ava yawned and let out,

“Sure. Give me some time to get ready.”
“Okay, we are coming to pick you up.”

When Abigail hung up the phone, Ava put her phone on the bed. Her hand unknowingly reached up to her lips.
She caressed her lips while closing her eyes. She felt like lan’s lips were still lingering on them.
She opened her eyes wide. She let out a gasp, moving her fingers away from her lips.
She covered her face with her hands and mumbled,
“What am I doing?”
She blushed just thinking about Ian.
The boy of her dreams had finally become hers. She gave him another chance, and he deserved it too.
She quickly got ready to go out.
She dressed in a white dress and left her house.
She noticed Abigail’s car was waiting for her outside. She got in the car and met Abigail and Debra.
“Good morning,” Ava said with a smile.
Abigail and Debra exchanged a glance, then looked at Ava carefully.
“Babe, tell me what happened yesterday. You look so different today,” Abigail said with a curious look.
Debra looked at Ava carefully and nodded her head to agree with Abigail.
The driver started the car. Ava leaned against the seat.
She lowered her head while maintaining a shy smile on her face.
“What the fuck! She is blushing hard!” Debra let out loudly.
“Control your mouth!” Abigail spoke to Debra while gesturing to her driver.
“Sorry, Sorry. I forgot today you came with your dad’s driver,” Debra apologized.
Ava chuckled at Debra’s sorry look.
“Guys, last night I went to the car race where Ian usually goes to participate,” Ava said to them.
“YOU WHAT!”
Once again, Debra was unable to control her tone.
This time, Abigail could not stop her either. She was also stunned after hearing Ava.
“Why did you go to that place? That place is not safe. The boys are really out of hands there,” Abigail mumbled, looking at Ava worriedly.

The three of they spent their day in a shopping mall. As they were making their way back to Ava’s house to drop her off, Debra inquired,
“So when is he going to propose you?”
Ava paused and turned to Debra. “Propose? He has already confessed-”
Abigail interrupted her and said,
“Not confession. When will he ask you to be his girlfriend?”
“I don’t know,” Ava replied cluelessly.
Abigail gave her a pleasant smile. “It’s okay. Very soon, I believe.”
Debra shook her head. “No, no. You can’t let him come toward you until he proposes you to be his girlfriend.”
Abigail hit Debra’s arm lightly.
“Aouch! That hurts!”
“Debra, Ian has already proved his love to her.”
Debra rubbed her arm and said,
“So what? She should not give her everything so easily. She can’t take a risk with her heart.” (1

Ava laughed at their bickering. She shook her head while listening to their tips for relationships.
Ava arrived at her house in the evening. She said goodbyes to her friends when they dropped her off. Abigail’s car drove away; Ava watched it leave.
She turned around to enter her house, but her gaze was drawn to a car parked among other vehicles.
Her brows rose up.
“Ian’s car?”
She bit her bottom lip and stepped toward her house.
She heard laughter as soon as she walked into her house.
Her legs froze when she noticed Stephen, Ian, and others were laughing together.

“They are back together?‘ she thought and felt relieved by looking at them.
She assumed Ian’s friends would have a heated argument with him. But it appeared that his friends were truly understanding. They forgave him for the match and got back together.
The maids rushed to her to grab the bags from her hands. She handed the bags to them.
“Ava?”
She heard Stephen’s voice.
She looked at him and walked over to the couches.
Her cheeks were hot, and she avoided Ian’s gaze..
