Ava was surprised to hear Stephen.
Seeing her surprised look, Ian cleared his throat.
“It looks like your sister doesn’t like it.”
A chuckle came out of Ronald’s mouth, and he muttered,
“Maybe he doesn’t want you to stay here.”
Ian raised a brow while looking at Ava and asked, “Is that se?”
After giving lan a quick glance, Ava immediately shook her head. “No, no. I didn’t mean anything like that.”
The corners of Ian mouth turned up in a smirk. He looked into Ava’s eyes, giving her a look that made her feel shy.
She averted her gaze from him as she blushed.
Stephen noticed them and said, “If you don’t want it, I can throw them out, Ava. What’s your say?”
“You can do what?”
The question was asked by Cyrus in a shocked tone.
Paul laughed and said, “She is your sister. Who do you want to impress now?”
After giving them a look that told them to be quiet, Stephen turned his attention to Ava. “Are you fine with it? If you don’t then-”
“No, Steph. I don’t have any problem with it.”
Ronald nodded his head and murmured, “Of course, you would be fine.”
It caused Ava’s cheeks to flush. Ian was silent, but she could feel his gaze on her.
She ignored Ian’s friends‘ remarks, which were for teasing him, and went upstairs to her room.
The moment she arrived at her bedroom and closed the door, she leaned against the door and let out a long breath. There was a smile on her face. She bit her lower lip in an effort to suppress her smile.
‘So he is going to stay here for a while?‘ she murmured.
She could not believe they would live under the same roof.
Her heart was filled with the same craziness that she had felt for him in the past. She yearned to spend more time with him and admire him. There was a hidden desire in her heart to be by his side always.
She refreshed and changed her dress. She wore comfortable baggy clothes since she was in her house.
When she was combing her hair while thinking about Ian, someone knocked on the door.
“Young Miss, come downstairs to have dinner. Young master is calling you.”
She heard a maid’s voice.
She shouted as she looked at herself in the mirror.

“I am coming.”
She took one last look at herself before leaving her room.
Descending downstairs, she tried to look for everyone. When she walked toward the dining table, she saw everyone except lan were there.
After making her way to the table in a leisurely manner, she took a seat close to Stephen.
He smiled at her and said,
“Let’s eat.”
Ava glanced around. Her gaze was trying to look for the boy she wanted to see all the time.
‘Where is he?‘ she thought.
Ronald gazed at Ava, which she noticed, and lowered her head…
“Don’t be shy, dear. We are all Ian’s friends, including your newly found brother.”
Ava looked at Ronald and said, “No, I was just…”
She paused when Ian entered the dining area while holding his phone near his ear.
“I will talk to you later, Mom.”
He hung up his phone and looked at the people sitting at the table.
Ava saw him gazing at her. She heard Stephen’s voice.
“My sister was looking for you.”
Everyone laughed while Ava was thinking about how to hide her face.
Ian took the chair across from Ava and sat down.
“That’s good. She should always be looking for me,” Ian replied, smirking at her.
Ava felt that she was trapped among these bad boys. They would not let her live the next few days without teasing her.
She thought to apologize to them for what she had done. She cleared her throat and said,
“I am sorry, everyone. Because of my foolishness, you all had to lose the game. I am feeling guilty about it. I don’t know if you can forgive me, but please accept my apology.
Her calm tone indicated to them that she was really upset about everything.
Everyone turned silent after her apology. Ava glanced at everyone, thinking that she had brought up the topic and it wasted their good mood.
However, when her eyes locked with Ian’s, he gave her an assuring look.
“It’s okay. Let bygones be bygones. Everyone knows we are the real winners, anyway,” Ronald said, shrugging his shoulders,
The others nodded their heads in agreement. Ava let out a deep breath, feeling relieved.
The whole time, she avoided Ian’s gaze in shyness. She felt his eyes were on her all the time

“Let her eat, bro. You look like you will eat her alive right row,” Paul said to lan.
Hearing that, Ava stopped chewing her food. She felt the food stuck in her throat, and she started to cough.
Ian stood up before anyone could do that. He walked around the table and stood behind her chair.
Ian reached for a jug and poured a glass of water for her. As he lowered himself, he put the glass on the table, closer to her.
“Drink,” he said in a low tone close to her ear.
Ava’s cheeks turned red, and she quickly grabbed the glass, she chugged down the whole glass of water and took a few deep breaths to calm her throat.
Ian turned his head to look at her face. The tip of his nose cane dangerously close to making contact with her cheek.
Everyone at the table looked at them in awe.
“Bro, are you going to… We are here just to let you know,” Cyrus uttered. 1
Ava gulped as she froze in her state. If she were to turn her face ever so slightly, it would come into contact with his.
“T–Thank you,” she mumbled.
A grin ran across Ian’s face as he looked at her. It was as if he was enjoying it.
“Don’t mind them. You should not react to their words. Whenever I am with you, you should consider everyone to be invisible.”
