Ava blinked her eyes to understand what Tan meant to say.
‘Coffee date? Right now? Where?‘ she thought.
She had no idea where Tan would take her. She remembered last night Stephen saying to her that she should not stay out the night before their parents‘ return. It was only because of her safety.
Ava gave it a thought. She made up her mind and thought about going out with Ian.
“Then let me change my clothes.”
“No, need.”
“What?”
Ian grabbed her and started to pull her out of her room.
She closed the door behind her and followed the way that he was leading.
While walking with him, she glanced at his tattooed hands,
Her gaze went back to his face. His hair cut was giving him such an attractive look. His fair neck was even more appealing.
‘What are you doing, Ava?‘ she asked herself and looked away from him.
She shook her head and said,
“Control yourself.”
Ian paused walking and turned to her.
“When did I lose control?” he asked her.
Her eyes widened as she realized she had said it out loud. She almost slapped herself. She shook her head and replied hurriedly,
“No, no. I… Don’t mind me. Where are we going?”
Ian started to walk again. “You will see soon.”
Ava noticed that he brought her to the staircase from where they could go to the rooftop.
“Isn’t the rooftop always closed?” She asked with a shocked look.
Ian smirked and replied,
“For me, everything is open.”
He brought her to the rooftop and uttered,
“Now look.”
Ava stepped onto the roof and turned her head to see what he was talking about.
But she let out a loud gasp.

Ava could not believe her eyes. Ian had made the rooftop in a beautifully decorated place.
She could see dim yellow lights in the trees. In the center of the roof, there was a round table that was white in color, and there were two chairs that were also white.
A kettle and two coffee mugs were placed on the table. She could see a small pot containing sugar and a silver teaspoon.
She could not help but mumble,
“So beautiful!”
She felt Ian leaning behind her. He leaned down to her car and whispered,
“Not more than you.”
She turned around, only to find her face closer to her own.
Her breath hitched. Her heart almost stopped beating.
She saw love in his eyes for her.
She felt emotional that he made such an effort for her. He cared for her.
She did not think much and wrapped her hands around her neck.
She hugged his neck and said,
“Thanks, Ian.”
Ian’s arms wrapped around her waist, removing the distance between them.
She gulped when he stood straight, causing her legs to hang in the air. She tightened her grip around his neck, realizing how tall he was.

He moved his hands from her waist to her bare thighs. She felt a shiver run through her entire body.
He grabbed her thighs and wrapped them around his waist before returning his hands to her waist.
She glanced at the ground and realized that she was hugging his body like a Koala.
Her cheeks reddened in embarrassment.
She moved her head from his neck and looked at him.
While holding her waist, he walked back to the roof’s door and closed it.
She stared at his face while he was walking. He gazed at her and said,
“I love it when you blush. It should be only for me.”
His voice was calm yet demanding. It was as if he were declaring his possession.
She nodded her head shyly.
She hissed when his hands moved to her thighs and he ran his hands on them.
He moved to the table while murmuring,

She blushed and accepted it. He took the chair across from Her and sat down.
He brewed coffee in both of the mugs.
“You made coffee?” she asked, smelling the perfect aroma.
“Only for you,” he replied with a grin.
Ava did not know how to smile more. Ian was doing something she had never thought of.
Who would have thought that Ian Dawson would plan for a midnight coffee date on the rooftop for her?
When he moved the coffee mug toward her, he said,
“I can’t guarantee how it tastes. Because I have never made coffee for others before.”
Ava grabbed the handle of the mug and looked at the coffee. She took a small whiff of it and then tasted it. When she took a sip of the most delicious coffee she had ever had, her eyes widened in surprise.
“Wow!”
Ian looked impressed by her expression. “I am happy you like it.”
“Like it? I loved it.”
Ian smirked at her and murmured,
“And I love you.”
Hearing him, she could no longer keep eye contact with him. She covered her face with her hands and said, “Ian, stop making me feel like this.”
He laughed while looking at her. As if he thought her reaction was cute, he leaned his chin against his palm and stared at her intently.
“That night, if you had told me to burn down the entire world, I would have done it for you. Do you know that?”
