Ava was shocked upon hearing Robin.
“Childhood lover?” she asked with a stunned look.
Robin glanced at her and nodded his head.
“I know you would react like that. But I said, secret lover. That’s a secret. I doubted he told you about this because it was about many years ago. As time passed, everyone forgot about it.”
Ava blinked her eyes, not understanding anything. lan had never talked to her about these things.
She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself.
‘It must have been a little crush in childhood. That doesn’t matter Ava. He is now your boyfriend; that’s the fact,‘ she said to herself and tried to be relaxed.
“Robin, how do you know all of these? Even Stephen never talked about this.”
Robin leaned his back against the chair and muttered,
“As I told you, my dad was a pack fighter. He wanted me to be one like him. So, from a young age, I used to go to the pack house for training. I was a child at that time.”
He turned her head out of the window as if memories flashed in his head.
“I can still remember the incident.”
Ava stared at him with all of her focus. She wanted to know about Ian’s childhood, about how he was, and what happened in the
past.
“One night, Alpha told my dad and the other pack fighters to stay and continue training. The pack house had some visitors that evening. Since I was a child, Luna noticed me and told me to go and play with Ian and others.”
Ava blushed when she thought about Ian as a child. He might have been a really handsome kid at that time.
“I went to the pack house, and the maids told me the children were in the garden. Knowing that there were guests in the living room, I avoided disturbing them and followed the maid straight to the garden. I saw three people were there. Two boys and a girl. The girl was pretty. One of the boys looked really angry. That was Ian. He was glaring at the other boy, who looked a few years older than him. That was the new prince of the Thunder How Pack.”
Ava felt a little jealous when Robin talked about the little girl. There was no doubt she was pretty enough to catch Ian’s eye.
“Ian had a little fight with the other boy. I still remember what the girl said to him, which caused Ian to push the girl to the floor.

“What? He pushed the girl to the floor. Didn’t you say he used to like her?” Ava asked with wide eyes.
Robin shook his head. “Let me explain. He really liked that girl. Everyone knows that. Because he always wants to play with her. He always told his parents to call the girl to play with him. But whenever she arrived, she was accompanied by another boy. So that day in the garden, the other boy told lan to stay away from the little girl and said he would not let the girl come here again.”
Ava’s lips parted. “Why?”
“Because that boy might have liked her too. When Ian said he would complain to his parents about it, the other boy bullied him, here, the calling him a crybaby who could only rely on his parents for everything. When Ian asked the girl if she wanted to co girl refused and said she wanted to break their friendship. She wanted to be with the other boy because that was w parents told her. Her parents told her that the other boy was stronger than Ian, so she should only be friends with that boy and
not Ian.”
Ava tightened her fists. She got really angry at that girl’s parents.

“Those parents! How could they do that? They were only children How could they brainwash the kid like that? And that girl! How easily she broke the friendship and said those things to Tan?!
Robin watched how mad Ava had gotten. He laughed at her reaction
“I thought you would be happy.”
“What? I mean. I was only thinking about how tan must have felt when the girl said that. Is that why he pushed the girl?”
Robin nodded her head. “After that push, the girl’s knees hurt and bled a little. It caused chaos, and fan’s parents got mad at him. His dad slapped him in front of others and apologized to the guests who were the Alpha and Luna of the Thunder Howl
Pack at that time.”
Ava lowered her head, thinking that fan might have felt really bad when his father slapped him in front of those two kids. However, his father had to bear insults too. The situation was really bad; she could understand.
“One person was ready happy that night.”
“Who?”
“Nova and his parents,” Robin said and laughed.
Ava’s brows raised as she asked,
“You know Nova too?”
Robin’s grin faded as he cleared his throat.
“Of course. She is the beta’s daughter. I know everyone.”
Ava thought that he was right. He knew many things about Ian’s childhood.
She thanked him for telling her so many things. Because of him, she got to know about Ian’s childhood. She felt bad for his
heartbreak.
She realized that it was the reason why he always waited for his mate to love and give his heart.
She recalled asking her many times about not cheating on him or letting another man come between them. Finally, she understood the reason behind his question.
‘I will love you forever, Ian. I won’t cheat you, never,‘ she thought with a smile.
Ava and Robin walked out of the coffee shop after splitting their bills.
She was about to say goodbye to Robin when her phone started to ring.
She saw that Ian was calling her.
Robing held her wrist, causing her to look at him.
“Don’t tell him you are here with me. He is scary. He can kill me anytime.”
Ava smiled at him and shook her head.
“Don’t worry, he won’t.”
“Please, Ava.”
Thinking that every boy was afraid of Ian, she sighed and gave him an assuring nod.
She received the call, and Ian’s voice immediately came out of the other end.
“Where are you?”
