Ava was missing Ian. Last night, she could not sleep because she kept thinking about him.
She was captivated by his behavior last night. He was so caring about her. That was the reason why she decided to give in. She would allow him to have her.
While looking in the mirror, Ava blushed. He was so concerned that he did not even leave any hickeys in her neck. It was because he knew her parents had returned and it would be difficult for her to hide them all the time at home.
Ava left her room after getting ready to go to her university. Her mother told her that Stephen had also left early in the moming with Ian.
Ava temembered Ian telling her that her mother would also go with him.
Ava had her breakfast with Angela and Gamma Harper.
Ian’s father called Gamma Harper to talk last night. Gamma Harper wanted to go with Ian and others out of the pack. However, since he had just returned after getting healed, Alpha Martin told him to stay at home and take some rest.
Ava went to the university and spent the whole day with her friends.
Something happened that ruined Debra’s mood. When Ava asked about it, she told her and Abigail that she had asked Robin out, but he rejected her. He said he was not interested in her.
Ava and Abigail both tried to convince Debra that rejection was not a big deal. Debra cursed Robin in front of them, saying she never wanted to see him again.
Ava could not help but sigh. Robin had now become her friend. She could not even ask him why he did not like Debra. After all, it was his choice.
Abigail tried to persuade Debra, saying that she would find someone soon.
After the classes, Ava met Robin for the study purpose. They went to the same coffee shop and worked on their assignment.
While studying, she got a message from Ian. She told Robin to take a break, and he agreed.
“What are you doing?”
It was Ian’s message. While looking at the text, Ava blushed.
“I’m studying.”
“Did I disturb you?”
“No. Have you reached the pack safely?”
“Yeah. But I don’t want to stay here longer. I am missing you, baby”
Ava bit her bottom lip and replied to the text.
“I love you too, Ian.”
“I can’t wait to come back.”
Her cheeks turned red. She wanted to hide her face in embarrassment. She slowly glanced around her and found that no one was watching her blush like a sick girl.
Her gaze met Robin’s. He asked, “Ian?”
He pointed his eyes at her phone.
She nodded her head and replied to Ian hurriedly,

“Okay, talk to you later.”
She then put the phone inside her bag. She would talk to him at night. She then turned her attention to her studies.
That was how two days passed.
Ava did her best to focus on her studies while lan was away. She did not want to waste her time because when fan would return, she wanted to give most of her time to him.
Two days seemed to her like two years. She was missing him every day. Talking to him was not enough. She wanted to hug him and told him how much she loved her.
She had a feeling that, even if she reached death, she would choose his life instead of her salvation.
It was evening.
Today was the last day of completing the assignment. Tomorrow she and Robin would have to submit their assignment to the professor by hook or by crook.
As Robin told Ava, they were almost done. Now they only needed to add the last two papers before finishing the project.
Ava was heading out of the campus. She was with Robin in the library the whole day.
She asked for a break because her head started to ache because of too much pressure from studying.
Abigail and Debra were not with her because they were not her partners. They had to do their own projects. By the way, Debra did not want to see Robin’s face, so leaving the campus early could be another reason for it.
Ava was typing on her phone, trying to text Ian. She had no idea why he stopped sending messages to her last night.
She called Stephen last night to ask about him and lan. He said Ian was fine and his phone was also with him.
Ava was unsure about the reason why Ian was ignoring her messages.
As Ava was about to call Ian, she got a push from behind.
She almost flipped on the floor. Luckily, she balanced her steps and stood straight. But her phone fell to the floor.
She turned around to look at the two girls who stared at her.
“What’s wrong with you?” Ava asked them.
“Girl, you are an idiot. You stopped in the middle, and we could not stop our pace.”
Ava frowned at them. “Are you both cars that you need a brake pedal?”
The girls rolled their eyes and mumbled,
“Ian is not here. So don’t expect us to worship you like a queen.”
After saying that, they left. Ava was stunned by their sudden rude behavior. Then she realized that they were Nova’s friends.
What could she expect more from Nova’s friends?
Ava bent down to grab her phone. She was surprised to discover her phone was not switching on.
“Oh shit!”
At that time, she heard Robin’s voice from behind.
“Are you okay?”
Ava turned around and said,

“Robin, my phone is broken. I think I have to go to-”
Before she could complete it, Robin approached her and grabbed her phone from her hand.
He tilted it left and right and said,
“No, it’s not broken. I have had the same problem before. I can repair it for you.”
Ava’s eyes lit up. “Really?”
“Yeah.”
“I need to talk to Ian. How long will it take?”
“Only an hour.”
Ava nodded her head with a relaxed face.
“But you have to come to my dorm.”
“Your dorm?” Ava asked.
“Yeah. I will repair your phone while we discuss our project. Like that, we won’t have to waste much time.”
Ava turned her head to glance at the dormitory area. She wanted her phone to be repaired as soon as possible and Robin was her friend, so she agreed.
“Okay, let’s go.”
