Her voice did not even shake a little while saying those things. It made Ian so mad that he threw his phone in anger. But his trust in Ava did not shake. Because of his broken phone, he did not talk to Ava that night.
He only waited for tomorrow morning.
He wanted to call out an urgent meeting, telling everyone that he had an emergency and he would have to return his pack as soon as possible.
His father was there with him. He got mad and scolded him. His father told him that it was impossible to call out a meeting since all the pack’s Alpha had not arrived at the pack yet. There was still one day left for the meeting.
Ian was so crazy to meet Ava that he argued with his father and told him that he would not attend the meeting.
His father was enraged and called him an irresponsible brat.
“How dare you plan to ruin my reputation like this? Every Alpha is coming to this pack to attend the head meeting. They also know that I am going to introduce you to this world of authority. But you are leaving this like that? Shame on you!”
Something inside Ian was gnawing at him, even though he trusted Ava. He was anxious because his heart was racing with a sudden fear of losing something. He did not discuss it with anyone not even Stephen, as it would only damage Ava’s reputation.
