Ava was surprised to see lan there. She lifted her hands and rubbed her eyes to clear her blurry vision.
“Ian? You are here?”
The sight of Ian’s dark eyes confused her. There was a darkness inside his eyes, which she could not understand. Before leaving the pack, he always gave her a soft look, which never failed to amuse her.
However, what was wrong with him today?
And was she dreaming?
What was Ian doing there? Wasn’t he out of the pack and decided to return a few more days later?
So many questions rushed into her mind.
Seeing lan’s furious look, she was startled. It was as if something was making him enraged slowly and deeply..
She could see a tint of sorrow in his enraged eyes.
“Ian, what’s wro-?”
She could not complete her sentence as he rushed toward the bed and grabbed her arm.
It shocked her totally. She hissed in pain in her arm. Ian was holding it too tightly.
He jerked her out of the bed and pulled her toward the long mirror beside the study desk.
“Ian, what are you do—”
She was about to ask what he was doing when her gaze shifted to the mirror in front of her.
She froze in her place. Her eyes slowly grew larger as they fell on her neck and her dress.
No, it was not a dress but a shirt.
“This is what happened,” Ian muttered while glaring at her through the mirror.
She slowly touched her neck and rubbed on the hickeys.
“H–How?” She mumbled, not knowing what was going on.
She recalled everything slowly.
She had come to Robin’s room with him. He told her to sit on the bed after placing the papers that they were working on.
Ava started to adjust the scattered papers on the bed. Robin went to sit on the chair near his desk. While looking at her phone, he said,.
“You just don’t need to worry about this phone. I will do what is best for it.”
Ava glanced at him and nodded her head. But then she thought of something and said,
“I want to talk to lan. Can you give me your phone for a minute?”
Robin twisted his chair and asked,
“You love him so much, don’t you?”
A smile spread on her lips when he asked the question.
“Love? Yes, I love him a lot. I fell in love with him when he had no idea I existed. I always tried to find possibilities to see him with only one glance.”

Robin smirked at her as if he were thinking about something. “Don’t love someone this much. I bet he doesn’t love you like this. His love is only an infatuation. am a boy. I know how other boys fel.”
Ava was stunned. “I–Infatuation? Why did you say that?”
“He is a bad boy and has a reputation on campus as well as in his mind. As I told you, he had a crush in his childhood, but look at him now. He doesn’t even think about her. Just like that, if you break up with him someday, he won’t remember you either.”
Ava was taken aback. She did not understand why Robin had suddenly started to talk like that.
“Why would I break up with him?” she asked, sounding angry.
Robin realized she was getting mad, so he quickly changed his tone and said,
“I am your friend. I was just concerned about you. Don’t mind me
Ava’s face slightly eased. She thought that anyone would think like that. In fact, she also thought the same at first and told lan that he was just interested in her and it was not love.
However, Ian had proved himself. In the past few days, she realized that no other boy in the world could love her like that.
Robin changed the topic and began to discuss their project.
“I asked you about your phone,” she reminded him.
“Oh, yeah.”
Robin pulled out his phone from his pocket and was about to give it to her. But then paused and said,
“Opps, my phone’s battery is dead.”
Ava blinked her eyes, feeling that today was a really bad day.
“It’s okay. I am going to charge it now. You can talk to Ian soon.”
Ava gave him a nod and focused on the assignment. After a while, Robin put Ava’s phone on the desk and stood up.
She raised her head and asked,
“Done?”
He shook his head and replied,
“One hour, I told you.”
With a disappointed face, she turned a few pages to review.
At that time, she heard a knock on the door.
“Let me check,” Robin said.
He went to open the door. Ava glanced to see who had come. But because of Robin standing at the door, she could not see.
Robin turned around, and her gaze fell on his hands, which were holding two cups of coffee.
“See what has come for you,” Robin said as he walked toward Ava
“Coffee?”
“Yeah, for you.”
Ava frowned at him and asked,
“But you said your battery was dead, so how did you order these coffees?”

As if Robin were taken aback by her question, he paused his steps.
A female voice came from behind, out of the door.
“I was passing the room and saw you both. So I thought, Why not deliver you some?”
Ava tilted her head and found an unfamiliar girl waving at her with a smile.
Ava did not mind and held a cup that Robin handed her.
While she was drinking the coffee, she tried to pay attention to their assignment. But she found the taste of the coffee strange. Robin closed the door and came to the bed.
A few minutes later, Robin took a look at the half–cup of coffee Ava had left in the cup.
“Drink it. We can study later.”
She turned her head at him. “I don’t like the taste.”
“Ava, coffee is good for our mind to focus on our studies.”
By saying this, he convinced her to drink the coffee by slightly pushing her hand.
A while later, she began to feel drowsy. She thought about going back to her house. But as soon as she got out of bed, she felt as if everything around her went blank.
