After wiping her mouth with a tissue, Ava turned her attention to Bina. Rine gave her a sly grin before grabbing a drink from a waiter.
Rina gave the waiter a friendly smile as he focused his attention on her.
Ava noticed that and said,
“Most importantly, you have to save yourself first. I can see what going on between you and Simon.”
Ava was familiar with the majority of the waiters and waitresses working at this club. Because she used to do a job in a restaurant when she was a student. These people were with her in that job.
Later on, they joined this club as part–timers and began to search for a job that would be ideal for them during the day. To find the job before them, Ava was fortunate enough to find it. She could say it was a miracle
“You called me. Something must be going through your head right now. Tell me,” Ava said,
Rina paused for a brief moment before taking Ava’s hand in hers.
“I need your help, Ava.”
“What in help?”
“My little brother is sick. I need to take a leave and go to him. Can you give me a proxy here in my absence?”

Rina held her hands tightly. “Pretty please? I am really helpless right now. Since I was unable to inform him earlier, the boss is extremely angry with me. Help me out with this one if you can make some time for two nights, please. I will return in two days, I promise.”
Ava rubbed her head. It was not like she had any problem with being a waitress again. But she had never worked in a nightclub. The place and the people were different.
‘It’s okay. I can do that. All I would have to do is serve the people drinks. That’s it.‘ Ava thought.
Rina stared at her with worried eyes. But when she saw Ava smile at her, she breathed a sigh of relief.
Rina hugged Ava and said,

Rina always reminded her of Abigail and Debra.
Ava was in contact with them. Sometimes they told her how they were doing in their pack. Ava also lied about her pack. She just did not want anyone from that pack to know where she was.
When Ava was conversing with Rina, she got a message on her phone.
She was so engrossed in talking with Rina that she did not notice the message until someone called.
She noticed her phone light up. She quickly grabbed the phone and took note of the person who had called her.
“Excuse me.”
“Who is calling, huh?” Rina said while casting a quick glance at Ava’s phone.
In response, Ava moved the phone and said,
“Someone from the office.”
Seeing her mysterious behavior, Rina chuckled and let her go to talk.

Ava could not get a chance to work with Freya since Freya’s contract was terminated six months ago before Ava could get the job.
When she first met Freya, she was good with her. However, later, Freya started to ignore her, showing a neglected behavior toward her.
Beta Bruno let out a deep breath after a while and then said,

Ava looked down at her wrist to check the time on her watch. It was 9 p.m. She was thinking about how she would go at this time as she tapped her feet on the ground.

She cut the call, not waiting to hear anything more from Beta Bruno.
She then went inside the club and informed Rina that she was leaving. Rina reminded her to come to the club tomorrow night. Ava gave her the assurance that she would definitely show up.
At the time that Ava returned to the outside, she noticed a shining blue car waiting for her.
She glanced around. When she saw no one there, she quickly got in the car.
The driver took her to a villa that was located close to the pack house. He got out of the car and opened the door for her.

Ava stepped out of the car and looked at the villa.
This was not the first time that she had visited this place.
She knew every detail of this villa.

Slowly, she made her way toward the entrance gate of the villa. One of the guards opened the door and uttered,

She gave him a nod and entered the villa. As she made her way toward the location where an open basketball court was located, she walked in that direction.
As she walked into the court, she was greeted by the resounding sounds of a ball hitting the ground.
Her steps came to a halt when she saw a young man playing basketball alone. Because of his brown hoodie, his eyes were covered, and only his nose and lips were visible.
The sleeveless hoodie he was wearing revealed his hands, which were covered in tattoos, and he appeared alluring.
Ava stood there silently, watching him play.
All of a sudden, the ball began to roll down toward her. She used her leg to stop the ball and then turned her attention back to
him.
He raised his hand and removed his hoodie from his head. It was then that his brown eyes met hers.
A smile began to form on Ava’s lips as she gazed into his eyes. She asked in a low tone,
“What made you want to see me at this hour, Alpha Dane?”
