Tan’s dark eyes were cold as they gazed at her. But his face was indferent as if he did not know her.
The tray shook a little, nearly spilling the drinks on it. However, she immediately composed herself and tightened her grip.
Since it was on the table, she let go of the grip and stood straight.
She looked away from lan and glanced at the tray
Though Ava composed herself, she could not control
her heart. Itarted to beat so fast that she almost felt difficulty breathing
Her wolf began to whine. She had never done this in these four years.
Was it the impact of her old memories or the powerful aura of the person in front of her?
The manager of the club came to the cabin and bowed to everyones a polite greeting. His eyes went to Ian directly, and he said,
“Alpha Ian, if you need anything, you can tell our
The manager glanced at Ava. He signaled her to serve the drink to others.
Ava was in a daze as her eyes were on the table. She could not describe her feelings.
This was the reason she avoided going to the Mystic Shadow Pack. Now the reason had come to her pack.
“Sure.”
She heard a cold tone that sent shivers down her spine. She slowly lifted her gaze and looked at Ian.
Luckily, he was not looking at her.
Her eyes paused on him for a moment to check on him.
He was no longer the careless boy with a wrecked lifestyle. He transformed into a strong man. His black suit emanated a dark aura all around him. He did not have any piercings in his ears. But he did not take out his one brow piercing. It appeared that he kept it with him to remind himself of who he really was.
Ava was surprised to see that he did not look the same. He appeared both mature and cold. He was once a good–looking boy. But now he was handsome with a dominant aura. Indeed, people would be hesitant to approach him. It was due to his calm yet cold
eyes.
“Why not serve us some drinks?” A man said with a chuckle.
All of the men there were young and looked like businessmen. It was like a meeting to discuss something.
Ava turned to the manager and mumbled in a low tone,
“Sir, is there another place I could serve?”
After hearing her, the manager shook his head. Then he spoke to her in a whisper,
“Don’t make us look foolish in front of the man sitting there. He is our rival Alpha. If he gets offended, I will have to apologize to Alpha Dane as well.”
Hearing about Dane, Ava’s heartbeat calmed down. She seemed to have realized who she was and where she was.
She had to face her past. She would have to face the man who she did not like at all. She was no longer in love with this man. T
If it had been the old Ian she knew, she might have considered thinking about him, but this man was not the Ian she remembered.
This man had all the records of all cruelty. There were a bunch of rumors that he never thought of before killing.
He used to beat people in the past, but now he does not hesitate to kill them.

There was some news where he stated if he wanted something, he could snatch it away, and that was his style. He did not care what belonged to whom; he wanted it so he would get it.
Thinking about all the news that she had learned all these years about him, she took a deep breath.
She nodded her head and glanced at the manager.
“Okay.”
The manager gave her a relaxing smile before he left the cabin.
There were eight men in the private cabin, and she was the only woman.
She hesitated when a man raised his empty glass and asked her to our him a drink.
‘It is not something I will have to do every day. I can do it,‘ Ava said to herself.
She bent down again to pick up the bottle of wine. She could feel the men’s eyes were on her. She hurriedly stood up and checked to see if her dress was fixed.
“Come on, darling. Hurry up,” the man said to her, patting his next seat.
Ava almost rolled her eyes but controlled herself. She was working in Rina’s place. She could not make her lose this job.
So she walked up to the man and sat next to him. She faked a smile as she poured wine into his glass. The man smirked at her while gazing at her.
“Alpha Ian, it is a pleasure to have you here.”
“What about staying here for a while? Our pack is not that bad.”
As the men attempted to initiate a conversation with him, they began buttering him.
When Ava noticed the man beside her moving closer to her, she frowned. She raised her brow, wondering if he thought of her as
an escort.
She was about to stand up, but the man wrapped his hand around her waist, which shocked her in her place. She tried to push him, but he just chuckled and tightened his grip.
She clenched her fists in anger. But her gaze shifted to Ian, who was staring at the man’s hand.
Ava paused, almost expecting him to react to this. But the next moment, he looked away.
Ava felt a pang in her heart for some unknown reason.
Did she just expect him to pull the man away from her?
She could see his indifferent face as if he did not care about how the man was making her feel uncomfortable.
The men around him glanced at Ian’s empty glass and looked at Ava.
“Serve Alpha Ian.”
Ava snapped out of her reverie when she heard them. She nodded and stood up, holding the bottle.
She walked toward Jan with slow steps, preventing herself from looking at him.
However, right as she was getting closer to him, her heels tripped over something, and she ended up falling right onto his lap.
