Ava was too shocked to react. Her eyes widened when her eyes met Jan’s cold gaze.
Her heart raced like a marathon, which startled her.
Why was she feeling like that? It was clear to her that she did not have any feelings for this man right now.
Then why?
It was her wolf who wanted him.
Ian’s eyes moved from her face and lowered to her hand, which was holding the bottle against his chest.
She followed his gaze and looked at his shirt.
She gasped as she noticed the wine had spilled on his shirt, soaking it. Since the shirt was black in color, nobody could see it. However, she could see the shirt damped against his chest.
“I–I am so sorry.”
She quickly started to wipe his shirt with the white napkin she had with her uniform.
She was so eager to wipe her mistake that she forgot she was still on his lap.
Everyone in the cabin turned silent, watching them quietly. They were too afraid to let out a noise. So it was a pin–drop silence there.
Ava wiped his shirt, failing to notice his dark gaze on her.
Before she could apologize again, a hand gripped her arm tightly.
She raised her gaze to look at him, realizing that she had not moved from his lap yet.
But the next moment, Ian pushed her away from his lap.
It was such a hard push that she had no chance of standing up and ended up falling to the floor.
Everyone looked at Ava before returning their attention to Ian.
Ian got up from the couch and strode to the door, indicating that he was leaving. The men got up and slightly bowed to him.
Secretary Neon rushed to Ian, trying to follow him behind.
“Come one, Alpha Ian. She was a pretty woman. You should not have been so harsh on her.” The man who was holding Ava’s waist a while ago said with a chuckle.
Ian’s steps came to a halt at the door. He turned his head to the side and said in a cold tone,
“I hate it when dirty women like her dare to touch me. There is nothing pretty about her. Whores like her are available in my pack. You can come visit someday.”
After throwing those cruel words, Ian left. His assistant glanced at Ava for the last time and left behind Ian.
Ava’s eyes were on the floor until Ian left the private cabin. Tears welled in her eyes, but she did not show them to him.
She was not the old Ava anymore. She was a headstrong woman who had her own independent life. But why did she suddenly have to face him and get humiliated?
She did nothing in the past. But she still had to get the punishment that she did not deserve. Wasn’t it enough humiliation?

She could feel difficulty walking. When she applied pressure to her right foot, she felt pain.
“Where are you going? Serving Alpha Ian was not your only job,” anan said, eying her body.
She turned her head and glared at him.
The man was astounded by her sudden angry expression. There was something in her eyes that caused him to stop reacting
The man who had been touching her stood up and came over to her.
“Come here. Accompany me.”
Ava pushed his hand when he touched her hand,
“I am not the type of woman who can accompany you in bed. So don’t waste your time.”
The man was surprised. Ava was talking directly. He tightened his grip on her hand and began to pull her.
She became so enraged that she raised her hand and struck his forehead with her one finger.
Within a second, the man’s eyes widened as he felt a shock deep within his bones. He released her hand and asked,
“W–Who are you?”
Ava glared at all of the men and muttered,
“Your death. I have come across many businessmen like you. Next time, don’t dare to mess with me.”
Ava exited the private cabin, leaving the men stunned.
Ava rushed downstairs, making her way to leave the club as soon as possible. It made her ankle hurt even more.
As she walked closer to the entrance, the loud music of the club faded.
“Have you seen Alpha Ian?”
“Why does he have to be so handsome?”
“He is so hot! How can a man in a suit look this hot?”
“Why did he leave? He should have stayed here for a while.”
“He looks so dangerous. I am terrified to think about getting close to him.”
“My dad mentioned once that he is trying to work with him on a deal. I hope I can see him again.”
Ava heard the girls talking about Ian.
She clenched her jaw and left the club without notifying the manager.
