Ava did not go to the company today. It was because Alpha Dane had given her a day off.
The whole day she stayed at her home. She cleaned her house, thinking about last night. She scolded herself countless times for being so untidy.
When she was with her family, she was really caring about these things. But when she left her pack, she felt that she had left herself there. This was a new Ava with a bunch of new habits.
She was getting bored in the evening. So she left the house to go to the mall.
She was a workaholic. So she did not want to waste her day and went to review different types of fabrics.
The mall was full of new collections of fabrics, which came from different packs. The Thunder Howl Pack was doing well in the import–export business.
This mall was not like other malls. The entire intention of the shops was to check which products people like to buy and use; after the review, they selected the products of the import business. This pack’s exported products were equivalent to its imported products.
“Miss Taylor, nice to meet you.”
Ava turned to her side and found the owner of a showroom, greeting her.
The owner was a young woman, and she had known Ava for a long time. When Ava was in university, this woman used to come to lecture in her classes once a year. Since she was a young businesswoman, she was a motivational speaker for the students.
“Miss Swift”
Ava greeted her back and hugged her.
“Ava, it’s been a while.”
Ava broke the embrace and replied,
“I usually come to your showroom a lot. But I suppose you are always busy.”
“Actually, you are right. Currently, I am looking for a model for my brand.”
Her eyes scanned Ava from head to toe, and her eyes lit up.
“I wish I could get a woman with such a perfect body like yours. You are perfect to be a model, do you know that?”
Ava blinked her eyes. “‘What are you saying? You know I am a designer, not a model.”
She chuckled a little after saying that. Evana Swift shook her head as she locked her arms with Ava.
“Come on. I am jealous of your body and beauty. Can you consider it?”
Ava sweetly declined her offer again. She only had interests in designing clothes for models, not in modeling.
“Okay, fine. What fabric would you like to choose? Let’s go to explore my showroom.”
They had known each other for six months since Ava joined the pack company.
When Ava selected some fabrics and ordered them, she told them to send them to the pack company tomorrow.
After taking her leave from Evana, Ava left the mall at night.
Just as she was about to hail a cab to return to her house, she got a call from an unknown number.
She received the call.

“Hello?”
‘Miss Taylor?”
“Yes, who’s speaking?” She inquired, as she did not recognize the voice.
“I am the manager of the nightclub that you left without working
Ava paused her steps. Just hearing about the club, the mentories of last night came to her mind and hit hard.
They were bad memories she did not want to remember.
“What do you want?” she asked.
“You need to come to the club right now.”
“Why?”
“You are working in the absence of Rina, remember? I have no time for explanation. You need to come right now.”
Ava froze when she remembered that Rina told her about two nights and that she had promised her to work in her absence. She could not even call Rina now because she tried to contact her to ask her about her brother in the morning, but Rina did not receive the call.
“Sir, can I take a leave from Rina’s side? I am not feeling we—”
“No, you can’t. That’s why Rina told you to work as her substitute. Now hurry up and come to the club if you don’t want her to lose the job.”
Ava was about to request him again, but he cut the call. Ava tightened her fists, thinking that the manager was too strict.
‘I feel bad for Rina. She has to do such a tough job. I wish she could get another job soon.‘
She thought for a moment then came to the conclusion that last night was worse because of Ian. But tonight she could easily do her job and go back home.
She hailed a cab and went to the nightclub.
She hurriedly went to the changing room and put on a new uniform since the dress from last night was in her house.
She went to the manager, thinking that she would ask him not to send her to any private cabin.
As she approached him, he looked at her and smiled.
She frowned, as she did not understand the reason behind his bright smile.
“Sir, can I ask for a request?”
“What?”
“Don’t send me to a private cabin today. I can serve the people here,” she replied, glancing at the men and women who were enjoying their time.
The manager shook his head and said,
“No, you don’t need to go to a private cabin.”
Ava let out a sigh of relief after hearing him. But her breath caught when she heard his next sentence.
“You have to go to a private room to accompany the VIP customer.
She got mad at him and said,
“Excuse me? Do you think I am a prostitute? I don’t want to go to any private room.

The manager glared at her and replied,
“You have no choice. If Rina were there–
“She would have done the same thing I have just said,” she retorted back.
“But she would have no other option but to go to that room.”
She gritted her teeth and asked,
“Why?”
The manager looked around and then said it in a low tone.
“The VIP customer is none other than Alpha fan himself. Offending him would be disastrous for us.“
