Ava came out of the club. She sobbed while hailing a cab,
She got into the cab. When the cab driver asked for the address, she told him the location.
During the ride, she tried to keep herself from crying more.
She was living a happy life before Jan Dawson arrived and Ained Why could he just not let her go?
Every time tears rolled down her cheeks, she wiped them.
Jan’s furious face and hateful eyes started to hunt her inside. She was not used to getting such hatred.
‘What was my fault?‘
She did not even cheat on him,
Why was she getting such punishments?
The cab came to a halt. The driver turned to her and said,
“Miss, we are here.”
Ava wiped her eyes and inhaled. She opened the door and stepped out of the cab.
However, she froze when she realized where she had come.
She turned to the driver and asked,
“Y–You brought me to…”
“Miss, I asked you twice. You clearly said this address.”
Ava paid the driver, and he drove away from the area.
She turned around and looked at the villa in front of her.
She was so distraught that she did not realize that she had given the cabbie Alpha Dane’s private residence address.
Perhaps she wanted to come here when she was feeling down.
He was the one who always gave her strength.
She approached the villa and paused at the gate, which was royally designed.
She glanced at the guards. They looked shocked to see her in the uniform of a waitress.
She looked away from them and asked,
“Is Alpha at home?”
“No, he is not back,” one of them replied.
She nodded her head. The guards opened the gate for her since she had full access to the house. It was permitted from the Alpha that whenever she came, they would not question her and let her go inside. So no guards dared to stop her from entering.
Ava entered the villa and went to the living room
She sat on a couch and rested her head against it. She curled into the couch. She felt helpless in this situation.
She had no one to go to except for Dane. He understood her the most.
He never called her with those dirty names, even after the incident that had happened six months ago,

After half an hour, her eyes drew to the celling mirror. She was stunned when she noticed how her makeup was ruined. Her mascara was shredded.
She sat up and wiped her eyes. She went to a guest room and opened the closet.
She did not find any clothes to change. She wanted to take a shower and change her clothes. But she could not do it.
She only washed her face and hands, then she left the room.
She did not want Dane to look at her in this dress again. It would make him angry once again. But she had no other choice but to keep wearing them. There were no ladies‘ clothes in the house. How would she change her clothes?
While roaming around the villa, she thought about something and went to the kitchen.
She opened the freezer and found no food inside.
She gave it some thought and smiled.
She wore an apron and started preparing dinner. Dane always helped her in everything. She could at least cook for him tonight.
Because she lived alone, she always cooked for herself.
While cooking, her mind kept returning to what had happened an hour ago.
Fate left her as if she had turned into glass. Ian could come anytime and break it as he pleased.
How could she let him do that to her?
She needed to protest. She would have to treat him back how he treated her.
She promised herself that she would not cry for him again.
After preparing what Dane liked the most, she set the table.
She walked around and stopped in front of the wall mirror beside a beautiful flower vase.
She gazed at the mirror and picked up a rose from the vase.
She looked into her eyes and tried to summon all her strength. Her eyes immediately changed color to emerald.
She shifted her gaze to the rose in the mirror and sharpened her gaze.
In a matter of seconds, the rose began to burn.
She hurriedly grasped the rose around her palm and blew out the fire. The fire did not hurt her a little bit.
She returned her gaze back to the mirror.
Though the fire had been extinguished, it continued to burn within her emerald eyes.
It was because she was not only an Omega but also a witch.
She was a fire witch, the most powerful one.
She was so strong with her powers that she could compare with an Alpha. It took her four years to reach this level. She had put in a lot of effort to become a successful witch capable of controlling her strength at any time.
She enjoyed using her power to assist others. Though the person never asked for her assistance, she was eager to help D ever needed it.

The sound of a car scratching outside the villa reached her ears.
Her eyes turned back to black. She placed the rose back in the vase and turned around to look at the front door.

The door opened, and Dane entered the villa.
She rushed to him with a smile on her face.
“You are back?”
She expected Dane to be pleased to see her here. However, his brow furrowed at her.
She then noticed he was looking at her dress.
“Again?”
He sounded disappointed. She approached him and grabbed his su jacket.
“Let me help you.”
She helped him take it off. But it did not ease his anger. He stared at her with dark eyes.
“Who made you work there? Rina? She will have to pay for it.”
“No, please don’t,” she said immediately with a begging tone.
“Change your clothes right now.”
She lowered her head and mumbled,
“I could not find anything to wear…”
He glanced at his bedroom and then said,
“Go to my room and find something from my closet.”
She raised her head to look at him with a pair of shocked eyes.
His eyes softened as he looked at her.
“What? I have no other intentions. Just change these clothes already before I teach your friend a lesson.”
She immediately rushed toward his bedroom.
“I am coming right away.”
She could hear him chuckling from behind. She blushed when she heard him muttering,
“Cute.”
