“You!”
Ava was shocked to see lan in her house. She could not believe her eyes.
Was she dreaming?
He was staring at her with his cold eyes. His gaze was so sharp that it could cut her throat out.
“W–What are you doing in my home?”
“That was not my question,” he muttered.
She gulped and tried to compose herself. Then she asked,
“H–How did you get my address?”
She glanced at the front door to see if the lock was broken. She was surprised to find everything was okay.
“Again wrong answer,” he muttered without looking away from her.
“How did you get into my home?”
She asked another question. There was no way she could understand how he had gotten in.
He had just broken into her house!
As if her continued questioning were irritating him, he got up from the couch and moved toward her.
Ava took a step back as she saw him approach her.
He came to a stop in front of her and lowered his gaze. She followed his gaze and found him staring at her clothes.
These were Dane’s clothes.
She looked away. She became enraged because he had come to her house. She could not forget how he humiliated her last night “I am asking you again, what are you doing here?” She asked in a calm voice.
His gaze moved to her face. But then they started to find something on her neck.
She hurriedly buttoned the shirt’s upper button, assuming he could see inside.
He scoffed at her when he saw her doing that.
“What are you hiding? As if other men haven’t seen anything about your body yet. Stop acting like you are an innocent woman.” She bit her tongue to control herself. She refrained from slapping him. How could he keep talking nonsense about her?
Did he even know what he was saying?
“It looks like you haven’t slept the whole night,” he muttered, glaring at her.
Ava looked into his eyes and nodded her head in response.
She then smiled at him and replied,
“You are right. I couldn’t sleep the whole night. My eyes are sleepy. Can’t you see the proof?”
Ian tightened his jaw and gave her a scowl.
She folded her arms and gave him a careless look.
“Alpha lan has come to my house. I think I am really fortunate about it. But I can’t welcome him. So he can leave now.”

After saying that, she turned around to move away from him.
But he grabbed her arm and pulled her back.
He pressed against the wall behind her and asked,
“City Moon Pack, huh?”
The smile on her face washed away as soon as she heard him.
He noticed her reaction. He smirked at her and said in a low tone,
“I wonder how your family will react when they learn what their faithful daughter is doing in another pack. They are so foolish to believe that she lives in the City Moon Pack. But the truth is…”
Ava shook her head immediately.
“Don’t tell them.”
He raised a brow and asked,
“Why? Are you afraid that they will get to know what a slut their so–called innocent daughter has become?”
Ava tightened her fists.
Slut, whore, bitch… he could only call her with those names. She couldn’t take it anymore.
“Stop calling me by these….”
His eyes moved down to the shirt again. He grabbed her collar and pulled her close to his face.
“Stop calling you slut? How? You did not return home the whole night. You came home wearing another man’s clothes and are now telling me not to call you that?”
He paused for a moment then asked,
“Tell me how many men have seen your body after you came to this pack.”
Tears scrambled in her eyes. She felt startled by his words.
‘No one…‘
She said that in her head but did not speak out loudly.
“What happened? Cat caught your tongue?”
He tilted his head and moved his mouth toward her ear.
She closed her eyes when his nose touched her ear. She felt her wolf leap inside her. She felt shocked.
It was because she started to feel the same sensation that she used to feel by his touch.
“Perhaps so many men that you can’t even count, whore.”
Her eyes flung open. She gave his chest a firm shove.
Her strength was so much that it caused him to take a step backward.
Her sudden strength took him off guard. But then he shook his head and let out a chuckle.
“Four years… you got some strength. Was that because of too much practice?”
She wanted to scream at him to stop saying those dirty things to her.
She was not like that.

She decided to give him back. So she took a deep breath and said,

He smirked at her. “Do you think Alpha lan is afraid of anyone?”

Her mocking tone made him mad at her more. He nodded his head and stepped back.
“Your mouth is running very well. I hope your brain will do the same.”
She frowned at him. “What do you mean?”
He turned around and went to the couch. She watched him grab his black suit jacket that was lying on it.
He rested it on his arm and said it without looking at her.
“You are going back to the Mystic Shadow Pack.” (1)
Her eyes widened. “What? Why?”
He turned his head to her and asked,
“Why? You don’t know?”
He gritted his teeth and replied,
“I cannot allow you and your action to cause my Gamma’s family to feel ashamed.”
She stepped toward him and said,
“But I am an independent person. I am not bothering them.”
She paused a few feet away from him. Looking away, she mumbled,
“I want to stay in his pack.”
“What you want doesn’t matter.”
“You can not make decisions for my life like this. You are no one to me.”
As it caused his blood to boil, he strode toward her.
She raised her head to look at him with angry eyes.
“You are no one,” she mumbled again.
“No one? You are still bonded with my pack. Have you forgotten it? So never forget that I am your head Alpha.”
She froze when she realized that she was still pack bonded with the Mystic Shadow Pack.
