Ava went back home and packed her luggage after talking to her mother.
All the time her mother was saying one thing,
“Come to the pack immediately.”
When she asked what had happened, her mother said,
“I am not feeling well. I want to see you.”
Ava felt really stressed. She loved her mother the most. She could not lose her. Since she was unwell, she wanted to go and meet
her.
She really hoped her mother would be fine.
She glanced at her phone, staring at a number.
It was Stephen’s number.
He had never called her after she left the pack.
She missed her bonding with him. She really accepted him as his brother. So thinking about the past, she felt hurt.
He also misunderstood me and never called me for once,‘ she thought.
Though she tried a lot to convince herself to call him, she always stopped herself from doing that. It was before he was her brother, he was Ian’s close friend. She knew he would never believe her over him.
Ava left her house and went to the pack company right away.
She had called Dane to meet him, and he said he was in his office.
Since the office hour was over, all the employees had left the company.
Ava made her way to Dane’s office on the upper floor.
She knocked on the door, awaiting his response.
Dane was swamped with work. So when he heard the knock, he stopped for a while then said,
“Come in.”
He was aware who had arrived. He closed the folder he was holding and placed it on the table.
Ava entered the room. Her eyes met his brown eyes.
He raised an eyebrow when he noticed how worried she appeared.
She walked inside and stood near the desk.
“What happened? Why do you look so worried?” he asked.
She did not respond, as she was staring at him as if she were lost in something.
He stood up from his chair and moved toward her. He pulled out a chair and signaled her.
“Sit.”
She blinked and shook her head. She looked at him carefully and mumbled,
“Dane, I have to go back.”

Dane’s hand paused on the chair. He shifted his gaze from the chat and gazed at her.
“What?”
She took a deep breath, recalling their conversation four years ago
FLASHBACK
The blue eyed boy grabbed Ava’s arm and started to pull her in the other direction.
Ava tried to break free while looking at the people who were heading toward the aircraft.
“I will miss the flight. Leave me.”
“You can’t leave. My Alpha wants to talk to you.”
She was feeling depressed. Her mother’s words returned to her mind. Her eyes widened when she realized that her mother might be right.
Did the head Alpha of this pack get to know the truth? Was he going to kill her?
The other people in the airport were looking at her. The boy looked annoyed. He stopped his steps and looked at her.
“If you don’t come with me nicely, I have other ways too.”
“What will you do? Kill me?” Ava asked.
Then she let out a laugh. “Actually, you know what? Kill me. I was dying in my pack daily. So it’s better to be killed at once.”
The blue eyes of the boy glowed as he looked at her intensely. She almost tried to step back.
She remembered how he once touched the middle of her forehead, and she felt a shock run through her body.
“Don’t be scared. I am not harmful. I can never harm you.”
She frowned at him. “But you tried once.”
He shook his head and replied something, which really shocked Ava.
“You are my cousin. How can I hurt my uncle’s daughter?”
“W–What?”
Ava could not believe her ears. Was he her relative? Was he really her father’s brother’s son?
“It’s true. I am Griffin Adler. You are my uncle, Hector’s daughter. You are my sister.”
Ava glanced at the flight boards, which showed that the plane had taken off. So basically, she had missed the fight.
Even if she now fought against this man, she could not go back. This pack was their pack. She was helpless here. She did not know if what he was saying was true. She could not help but agree to go with him.
When Griffin took her to a small launch area for VIPS where all the businessmen were sitting and talking, everyone turned to
look at her.
Ava’s gaze was drawn to the young man she had recently encountered. He was sitting on the couch. He could easily catch any girl’s attention.
Ava felt a powerful aura coming from him. His sharp gaze moved at her when Griffin spoke out.
“Alpha, I brought her here.”
Ava recalled what her seatmate was saying to her about him. He was none other than the head Alpha of the Thunder Howl Pack, Alpha Dane.

Alpha Dane looked at the men and said,
“You all can go and wait in the local area.”
All the businessmen looked wealthy and respected people. They were stunned to hear him.
“But Alpha-“
He interrupted them by saying,
“Do you want me to kill a few of you to question me back?”
Ava looked at the man with frowning eyes. She thought he was just saying those to create an intimidating impression.
Because she had seen Alpha Martin as the head Alpha, she knew this man could not kill his pack member.
However, she was shocked when the man sitting beside Alpha Dane, who looked like his beta, moved his jacket and took out a gun from his waistband.
Ava took a few steps back when the beta handed the gun to Alpha Dane.
All the businessmen quickly got up from the couches and bowed to Alpha Dane.
“Please forgive us. We never wanted to obey you or not leave the area. We were just curious to know who the girl is.”
Alpha Dane turned his head to look at Ava and replied to the man,
“She is someone very important to your pack. A girl who can change the predictions with her powers and abilities.”
