Abigail rushed out of the car and hugged Ava.
“Oh my god!”
“How are you, Abi?”
“I still can’t believe you are back!”
Abigail almost cried, seeing Ava.
Ava hugged her tightly. “I am sorry that I left without telling you all”
“Please don’t leave us again,” Abigail murmured while hugging her.
Ava gave her a small smile after breaking the hug.
She held Abigail’s hands and looked at her.
“Abigail, this is not my place. This is not where I belong.”
Abigail was upset. “I know you want to go back to the City Moon Pack.”
Ava lowered her head when she realized she had been lying to her friends as well.
Abigail opened the car door for her.
“Get in. Let’s go to a club and have fun tonight. Debra is coming.”
“Okay.”
Abigail took Ava to the biggest club in the Mystic Shadow Pack.
Ava was stunned to see how big the club was. It was the newest club that opened last year. All the important outdoor meetings are held here. All the hangouts or parties of big shots were arranged here.
“It’s a famous club for the wealthy people.”
Abigail’s voice came to Ava’s ear as she glanced around the club in awe.
“AVA!”
Ava turned around and was immediately enveloped in a warm hug
Debra hugged her tightly.
“Finally we got you.”
Ava smiled and nodded at her. Abigail and Debra both told her how their lives were going.
Debra’s eyes examined Ava as she muttered,
“Holy moly! How did you make this goddess figure?”
That was when Abigail noticed Ava’s body and dress. She was so engrossed in Ava’s arrival that she forgot to notice how much Ava had changed.
“Yeah, she is right.”
“It looks like our nerd has turned into a goddess of hotness,” Debra said with a wink.
Ava let out a chuckle. Her friends had not changed a little bit.

“You chose the right thing. This orange dress perfectly fits your body. Look at these curves, Abi. They even look better than yours,” Debra said.
Abigail was really attractive when it was about a perfect body. She could not help but agree with Debra that Ava had the perfect body.
“So true,” Abigail said.
“You two! Stop it,” Ava said and laughed.
They then ordered drinks for themselves.
“Do you drink? I thought you didn’t,” Abigail said to Ava, recalling their past times.
Ava grabbed the glass of wine and replied,
“There has been a change in everything, and I have also changed.”
“Right choice. We should change and see the world around us. So just enjoy ourselves,” Debra said, raising her glass.
Both Ava and Abigail cheered and took a sip.
They walked toward the lounge area.
As they took seats on a big couch, Abigail and Debra turned their heads at Ava.
“Now tell us how life was there,” Debra asked.
Ava gulped her drink while looking at others. Boys were glancing at her.
Young men stared at her without moving their eyes. Some of them even winked at her. She rolled her eyes and turned her attention to her friends, who were observing her silently.
“What is there to say? I was good there.”
Her friends stared at her. Abigail cleared her throat and said,
“Many things happened when you left. Do you have any idea how much we try to reach you? Even after Ian’s acci-”
Ava turned her head to Abigail, and she paused speaking. There was something in Ava’s gaze that stopped her.
She felt that Ava did not look like before. Her personality had changed. There was some aura coming from her tha different.
“I am not here with you both to listen to the past stories. So just let it go, okay?”
Her voice was friendly yet cold. Somehow it made Abigail feel awkward inside. Debra could feel that too.
But they thought it was because they had met Ava after many years
“Tell me about yourselves. How are you doing?” Ava said, trying to ease the atmosphere.
“Lam working in the pack company as the head of the management department,” Abigail said.
“Wow! That’s a big catch!” Ava said with a bright smile.

Abigail smiled and nodded her head. “It took time, but I succeeded. The general manager was old, and I had been working with him for two years beside the studies. He saw potential in me and told the HRM department about me. He said I could do this job properly.”
Nice.”
“I am working as a model,” Debra said, showing Ava some modeling poses while sitting.

Ava’s eyes lit up. “That’s great, I can design dresses for you.”
Debra and Abigail were surprised to hear her. “Design her dress? Have you become a fashion designer?” Abigail asked with
surprise.
Ava was about to tell them where she worked but stopped when she realized she could not tell them about the Thunder Howl Pack. She wanted to keep it confidential.
“Well, I am working as a fashion designer.”
Debra looked happy to hear that. “Sure. I will ask my company to approach you.”
Debra rested her chin on her palm and murmured,
“Nowadays models‘ values depend on which branded clothes they wear.”
“Our pack company’s fashion designer is the best. No comparison Abigail said proudly.
Debra shook her head. “I like the dresses of Florence.”
Abigail frowned at her. “Florence? Isn’t she the fashion designer of the Thunder Howl Pack company?”
“Yeah. I have seen many pictures of her designed dresses in fashion magazines. She is very famous overseas. Why doesn’t our pack company ever reach her?” Debra asked, looking at Abigail since she was working in the pack company.
Abigail scoffed at her. “Have you lost your mind? She is from the Thunder Howl Pack. Do you think it’s even possible for us to think about approaching any of them? It’s prohibited for us by the CEO.”
Ava was listening to them quietly.
The smile on her face never faded.
The person they were talking about was actually her.
She was Florence.
People around the world knew about her with that name. They did not know her but her work.
Ava thought she should not hide these things from her friends.
As she was about to think how to tell them about her identity, her eyes drew to the man who had just entered the club.
