After grabbing her hand once again, Ian tightened his grip and pulled her hand closer, causing her to move toward him. “You never stop surprising me. After all the things you have done, you still have the courage to talk to me like this.” Ava looked into his angry eyes. Her eyes turned calm.
The two pairs of eyes were looking at each other with different emotions. One of them was enraged, and the other one was sad. But the anger was so intense that he was unable to notice the sadness within the soft eyes.
Ava gulped when she stared at lan. The closeness between them sept shivers inside her. It was as if there was something in the closeness that made her feel strange. No matter how tight his grip was, his one touch made every emotion in her heart change. However, Ava did not show him how she was experiencing it inside
She forced herself to think that all of these were an illusion.
After like forever, she composed herself and spoke,
“Since you hate me so much, I better keep my distance from you. Is that okay, Alpha Ian?”
Ian did not reply, but his eyes were still fixed on hers, and his hands were still wrapped around her wrist.
She tried to break free her hand but failed to do so.
“What do you want?” she asked, feeling defeated.
“What do I want?” he spoke out.
It was a question for himself too. Ian had no answer for it.
His brows arched as he could not reply. He heard a hiss escaping out of her mouth. That was when he realized that his grip tightened more than he thought about it.
He noticed her face; she looked in pain.
His hand almost immediately loosened its grip.
She pulled her wrist back, glaring at him.
“I know what you want. You want to take revenge on me, right? How will you do it?”
He frowned a little. Was there any way to take revenge for betrayal?
He smirked at her and said,
“You are giving me ideas, whore.”
Her brows shot up as if she was surprised by his reply. She took a step back while nodding her head.
“Whore, bitch, slut… I see. If that’s what you think about me, then let’s be it.”
After saying that, she turned around and headed out of the corner.
He stared at her back without stopping her from leaving.
His smirk faded as the distance between them increased.
When he saw her in the Thunder Howl Pack a week ago, he thought she would ask for forgiveness, begging him to forgive her.
But she turned out to be proud of her wrongdoings.

There was a glint of blaze visible in his eyes. He became angry unwillingly.
He could not just let go of her so easily after what she had done to him.
Ava came out of the corner and went back to her friends. They looked at her closely.
“What?” she asked, grabbing a drink for herself.
“Babe, you looked happy when you left.”
“Did you have a fight with the person?”
Hearing their questions, she shook her head.
It was not that person; she had a fight with their so–called head Alpha.
“I thought you would-”
Abigail paused when she noticed Ian coming out of the corner where Ava had gone to talk a while ago.
She realized what could have happened. Debra also noticed it and understood the situation.
“Did he approach you?” Debra asked.
Ava did not glance at Ian but rolled her eyes.
“Approach? He just wants me to die, I guess,” she muttered.
Debra exchanged a glance with Abigail. Before they could calm Ava or cheer her mood, a boy approached Ava.
“Hey! Beauty. May I dance with you?”
Debra and Abigail thought Ava would refuse. But surprisingly, Ava glanced in Ian’s direction, who had just sat on the couch with his friends in the lounge area.
“Sure,” Ava replied.
“But Ava…”
Ava turned to give a look at Abigail. “What? Do you know what your head Alpha calls me?”
She moved toward her and mumbled,
“A whore.”
Abigail’s eyes widened in shock. Seeing the reaction, Ava gave her a small smirk.
“Since he thinks like that, why would I waste my time being an innocent girl? I will enjoy other men’s company as long as I am
in front of his eyes.” 1
Debra heard everything but said nothing.
Ava reached out to take the boy’s hand, which he extended to her. Then she went to the dance floor with him.
Ava came to a halt on the dance floor. The boy wrapped his hand around her waist and pulled her closer. She was not expecting him to do that. But she did not care.
She started to dance with him.
In truth, there was anger that filled her mind.
She could not take more stress about it. She did not care about Ian and his silly beliefs.
“Are you enjoying it?” the boy asked.

She turned her back to him and rested her head against his chest.
“Hmm.”
Due to the loud music, the boy could not hear it. So he moved his car close to her lips, and then she replied again.
The boy nodded proudly and chuckled.
From a little distance,
lan was watching Ava dancing. His eyes pierced on how her body was brushing against the other boy.
The orange dress looked better on her body, which grabbed every man’s attention in the club. The flickering lights on the orange color made others look at her more.
His eyes darkened when he saw the boy leaning down to her mouth. It looked like she planted a kiss on his ear.
The grip on the glass tightened as his eyes lingered on her.
From next to him, he heard his best friend, Ronald Solace’s voice with a mocking tone.
“Looking at the same woman who broke your heart and claiming that you hate her, it doesn’t match your statement, you know.”
