Angela was confused. She glanced at Griffin, not daring to look at Dane again. She was frightened that he would hurt her daughter.

Angela stared at her daughter, yearning to hear her.
Meanwhile, Ava was quiet. She could feel Dane’s gaze on her.

After saying that, Dane left the house. Following him, Griffin also left.
Ava shifted her gaze toward her mother. She could see her swollen eyes
“Ava, I am so sorry, my baby,” Angela said, shedding tears.
Ava rushed to her mother and hugged her

Angela sobbed and mumbled,
“I thought he would force you. Your Dad had no choice but to seek help from his father. It was all about your life. But I did not want you to be in debt your entire life. I wanted you to find your male as soon as possible and marry him so you could live a happy life like everyone else.”
Ava cupped her mother’s cheeks and smiled at her sadly.
“Mom, my mate rejected me many years ago. ”

So she opened up to her mother about everything. She told her how tan rejected her and then asked for a chance. She did, but then he ended their relationship, shattering her trust in love.
