Avsaid whatever was on her mind and walked out of the room. She felt her cheeks getting wet as she made her way to the canteen. Realizing that she had nearly revealed her vulnerability to the man, she quickly wiped away
her tears.
Crying was not a sign of weakness. She was in anger and she did not want to burn everything around her. That was why her anger flowed down with tears.
She entered the canteen and took a seat at one of the tables.
She looked out the window from where she sat at the table,
She recalled the incident that happened many months ago.
It was a night when she was partying with her friends at a club. It was a birthday party, so they had their own spot in the corner to celebrate while cutting the cake.
She was drunk that night.
She was not aware that a man was following her. In the name of helping, he led her to a room and began to open the button on her shirt.
She was not in her right mind, but she understood that something was happening with her. She became traumatized as she recalled Robin’s incident with her many years ago.
However, someone entered the room to rescue her. The man who was pulling her clothes was unable to remove anything because he had been beaten by her savior. The savior was none other than Alpha Dane.
The man who tried to harm her was his own Theta. He claimed she was the one who tried to seduce him. But Dane said she would never seduce a man like him.
That night Beta Bruno got mad at Ava because he trusted his friend who was their Theta.
Dane not only punished Theta but also threw him out of his position. Bruno blamed Ava for the entire situation. But Dane’s actions really touched Ava’s heart. That night, she felt that he was a very good man. She was indebted to him for saving her. She wanted to do something for him so she could repay him.
She wished to make him a good man who knew how to live a good life. She wanted him to be happy, just as he had made her life happy and safe in his pack.
“Where are you lost?”
Hearing a voice, Ava looked away from the window. She turned around to see her brother, Griffin, looking at her. He glanced at the empty table before her and asked,
“Not ordering anything?”
“I will,” she said softly, exhaling.
Griffin took the chair and sat down across from her. He examined her closely and inquired,
“Who made my sister cry?”
She chuckled, thinking that he would use his power to kill someone.
“Nothing, bro.”

“Are you sure? Do you want to share?”
“Nothing. Something had been in my chest for a long time; spilled it a while back.”
Griffin was confused as his brows wrinkled. “I don’t understand. What are you saying?”
“I said nothing. Now let’s have something to eat come on.”

Ian was in the room all alone. He remained motionless even after Ava left. His eyes were on the door, fixing his gaze.
Her words from before she left were embedded in his mind and echoed.
Thinking about her getting close to Dane, his fists tightened.
He could not describe what kind of feeling it was.
When he saw her with Robin four years ago, he could not have imagined her with him. The hickeys and the shirt she was wearing were the only things that made him angry!
Today he realized that he could not see her with another man. Regardless of how many days, months, or years passed, he felt betrayed.
She claimed he met a man who trusted her in a similar situation. What exactly did she mean by that?
That man showed her what true feelings were?
Did she mean that his feelings were not true?
Was there another man who could love her like he used to?
Ian left the room with the intention of leaving the company
Ronald called, stating that he was near the canteen.
As soon as he arrived, his gaze was drawn to Ava and another man sitting alongside him.
His eyes dug on him, ignoring the fact that she was now with Dane.
“Who is he?” he asked.
Ronald’s attention was on Griffin as he responded to Ian.
“Remember when this boy came to our campus? He wanted to speak to Ava. I am curious what he wanted t
to her about. At the time, she did not even live in his pack. How did he know her?”
Ian’s eyes pierced on Griffin from afar. He took out his phone and dialed a number.
Ik
“I am sending you a photo. Find out who this boy is and how he is connected to Ava Taylor. I want to know every detail and secret.”
After looking at Ava for the last time, Ian left the company.
He grabbed the car keys from the driver and told him to leave.
Ronald kept asking what had happened again, but Ian remained silent. But when he drove, his rage was evident. Ava’s words that she did not want to come to see him when he got into an ent kept replaying in his mind.

What a fool he was to have been waiting for her in that dire situation?
When his phone rang, he slammed on the brake. Robin let out a sigh of relief. 3
Ian received the call and heard his men talking about Ava.
“Alpha, that person is Griffin Adler, Ava Taylor’s cousin.”
Ian was stunned when he heard that. “Isn’t that man a wizard?”
“Yes, he is a wizard. He is her uncle’s son. Ava Taylor is the laughter of Harold Adler.”
“And?”
“Harold Adler wanted his daughter to marry Alpha Dane when they were children. But Angela Taylor betrayed them by taking her daughter away during the war.”
Ian furrowed his brows. That piece of information was too much for him. He was not expecting these.
“How did you find out about all of this?”
“Alpha, it’s Alpha Dane’s old maid. She claims Ava Taylor visits Alpha Dane’s house and spends nights with him. She cares for him and even prepares his favorite foods like an ideal wife.”
Ian tightened his grip on his phone, causing the screen to crack in anger.
