Ava left the room, leaving lan alone. It was exactly like that lay in Dane’s company.
A tear rolled down on his cheek as soon as the door shit from outside.
He stared at the door without blinking.
How badly had he screwed up?
There was no way to get out of the guilt?
How much did she have to suffer for him?
What could he do to win her forgiveness?
Was there a chance for redemption?
What he did was not a mistake, but a sin. He doubted a girl who used to love him truthfully. He accused her of Infidelity. How did she feel at that time when he turned his back to her?
What a loser he was!
He closed his eyes, and more tears flowed from his eyes. He never imagined he would cry for anyone one day.
Suddenly he recalled what Ava mentioned in the game. It was all Robin’s plot against them.
When he entered Robin’s dorm that day, he noticed Ava wearing his shirt and having some hickeys on her neck. He tightened his fists, thinking Robin had touched her inappropriately.
Once again, the realization of this fact made him angry.
When he opened his eyes, they turned red.
He growled in anger and opened the door. He believed everything had happened because of him. He should have killed Robin that day.
He stepped out of the door. The whole building was empty, so no one noticed his look. He raised his arm, wiping his face with his sleeve.
He then left the building. He did not follow his path to the party hall.
He got on his bike and set off, leaving the campus.
Meanwhile, Ava went to the restroom after exiting the room. She looked at herself and noticed blood stains on her cheek. It was lan’s blood that came from his knuckles when he cupped her cheeks.
Ava stared at herself in the mirror.
Why did she return to the pack after four years? Was this apology important for her life? Was that why her fate brought her back to this place?
Immediately, she reached for a tissue and drenched it in water. She then began rubbing it against her cheek to wipe away the blood.
She did not know why she was feeling so uneasy. She had already said everything she wanted to say to lan.
Her wolf started whining as if she wanted lan near her.

Why? Why are you so brazen? Dane Is going to be our mate Forget about lan. How could you forget how he betrayed us? She told her wolf.
Her wolf whimpered, desiring to be free. There was no way he would shift tonight.
She left the washroom, believing that she was free from all the accusations tonight.
When she returned to the party, she heard people talking about lan having left the party. She walked ahead, Ignoring their possip.
Her eyes caught her two Triends in a corner. She remembered Abigail’s message and walked over to them.
Abigail saw her, and her eyes widened. Ava was about to ask her about the message when she rushed over and hugged her tightly.
“Please, forgive me, babe. It was my fault.”
Ava was dumbfounded. She thought Abigail wanted to meet her there, but why was she apologizing? Shouldn’t she be the one to apologize for not going to her on time?
She pulled back from the hug and looked at Abigail.
“Why are you saying sorry? I am the one-”
Abigail cupped her face and was about to refuse but paused.
“What happened to your checks? Why are they so cold?” Abigail inquired, her face filled with worry.
Glancing away, Ava muttered, “I washed them.”
Debra hurried to Ava, pulling Abigail behind. “Why? What happened?”
Ava gave her a frowning look. “Why did you ask that?”
Abigail did not want to lie to her, so she took her hand and said,
“I am sorry, Ava. I sent you the message, but it was actually sent by Ronald. He wanted you to talk to Ian.”
Ava was taken aback. “Ronald?”
Abigail lowered her gaze and nodded her head. She came to the realization that she should not have done that when Ronald took her for a walk outside. She even intended to text Ava again to warn her not to go there any more. But Ronald took her phone away and requested that she let Ava and lan clear their misunderstanding for once.
Ava stared at Abigail without replying. Abigail felt like crying. “I know apologizing is not enough. I thought you had enough to give him back what he had been giving you all these years.
Ava pulled Abigail into a hug and said,
“It’s okay. Next time, avoid stumbling into their traps. I am not afraid of lan, so I don’t care even if he comes across me any time.”
Debra exhaled deeply, smiling at her two friends. Her gaze shifted to someone who was staring at her. Her smile faded as her eyes met Stephen’s.
She rolled her eyes and looked away from him, not paying him any attention.
Ava pulled her into that hug to join them; the three friends looked happy.

A motorbike came to a halt beneath a building in the gloomy weather.
With a fierce expression on his face, the man got off the bike and looked at the building.
‘Pack Hospital‘
He had not been here for a long time. There was no need for him to come. He had his own physician who treated him and his family. If any of them required treatment, that private physician would always visit the pack house directly.
When he started to walk into the hospital, everyone started to glance at him with shocked eyes.
They had only seen this man wearing dark suits. Tonight they saw him dressed casually, with ripped jeans, a black jacket, and a different hairstyle. He appeared younger than his age and more rebellious than when he wore formal
suits.
The people recognized him and bowed to him.
He went directly to the elevator to get to the top floor. When he arrived, he made his way to the last cabin. Since the head Alpha only used the floor in an emergency, it was empty.
When the doctor assigned to the floor learned that he had arrived, he rushed over
“Alpha! You are here!”
r to him.
The doctor said, bowing his head while glancing at his clothes. As he noticed something, he stood straight and said,
“Alpha, your hand!”
Jan ignored him and focused his gaze on the window glass of the cabin. His eyes darkened and became fiercer as they landed on the man lying on the bed.
“Do you remember what I said last time before leaving the hospital?”
The doctor lowered his head and replied,
“You said you would return here when you want him to wake up.”
Jan’s eyes turned red and his lips crawled as he stared at the man in bed. With a cold voice that almost shook the doctor, he muttered,
“The time has come. Wake him up.”
