Suddenly he had an idea and dialed a number, thinking that the person could help him.
The call rang for the fourth time. As Stephen thought the person would not receive the call and he should cut the call, the person received it.
“Who the hell are you disturbing my sleep?” A voice rang in Stephen’s ear.
He shut his eyes and moved the phone away from his ear.
“Can’t you speak less loudly?” He spoke, then brought the phone to his ear after a few seconds.
As if the person on the other end was stunned by hearing him, she asked,
“Stephen?”
He rolled his eyes. “Who else?”
“I was on a beach with a handsome boy and you! Who the hell are you to interrupt my wet–I mean, my happy dream?”
Stephen’s eyes darkened as he asked, “You can’t think of another thing without boys, right?”
“Correction, handsome boys.”
He tightened his grip on the phone and muttered,
“I made a mistake when I called you. Go back to sleep,” he barked and hung up.
A few seconds later, his phone rang. He did not want to receive the call, but it kept ringing He took the call and asked,
“What?”
“What the hell, bro! You ruined my sleep and hung up the phone without giving me an explanation.”
“I am not your bro, Miss Debra,” he said, gritting his teeth.
“Why? Someone once claimed that he was my friend’s brother. So I think I should respect him,” she said in a sarcastic way.
Stephen raised his hand and glanced at his watch. “Get ready. Meet me at the shopping mall close to your house.”

Debra remained silent for a moment until his ear caught the sound of her breath. Stephen’s gaze flickered for a

“I see why you checked my address. It is probably because of your sister. You might want to add my address to your list in case you need to locate your sister outside your house, right?”
Stephen did not reply. Bet he was feeling dumbfounded. He did not find out her address for that reason. However, there was no way he would admit why lie checked on it.
“Yeah, right. Now get up quickly. I need your help choosinga present for Ava.”
“I won’t help you.”
He frowned and said,
“You won’t? Then let me come to your house.”
“No, you don’t have to. I don’t want to create any drama in front of my parents. They are at home. Can we meet directly at the mall near my house?”
He thought for a moment before responding, “Okay.”
After saying that, he hung up.
With a grin on his face, he left his house.
Ava rubbed her forehead because she had a headache from working nonstop for so long. Dane was not here, so she was not eating on time. She pondered whether the unbearable headache was the reason her blood pressure dropped.
“Miss Taylor, why don’t you go home earlier today?” one of the employees said.
Ava gave it some thought. If she became ill, she would be unable to complete the costumes successfully. Some costumes still required some work.
“Okay, I am leaving then.”
Ava left the office at six of the clock in the evening,
Just as she was ready to call a cab, Stephen called her. She quickly received it.
“Steph, is everything okay at home?” she asked.
“Why? Can’t your brother call you without any reason?”
Ava shook her head. She did not mean that. They usually only talked during dinner with their family. Lucy rarely called each other like before.

Just as she turned around to see who had entered, her eyes widened in shock.
