Tomorrow was Ava’s birthday. It nearly slipped her mind. After what had happened yesterday evening, she could “not think of anything else.
Seeing Robin in front of her eyes, she had an urge to kill hire there. But she kept her cool and reminded herself that she was not that type of person.
She did not say it, but she was shocked to learn that Nova was the mastermind behind the entire conspiracy.
How could she do such things to a woman when she herself was a woman?
Ava did not cry last night. She had grown stronger. She did not need to cry over silly things when she had the ability to do things she wanted.
She looked down at her palms. It was her hand that was the source of the fire that emanated from her body. Anyone could be burned by the intense heat of the fire. But it was the process of nature that her fire could not hurt her. She could not get burned in the fire.
It was late in the afternoon.
Ava was sitting on her bed at home when she heard her mother call for her.
She got out of bed and moved to open the door.
“Yes, Mom?”
“Honey, your friends have come to see you.”
Ava dashed downstairs, only to find Abigail and Debra sitting there.
“Abigail! Debra!”
Ava ran over to give them a hug but stopped. Thinking they would not return the hug, she lowered her head.
Abigail and Debra approached her, pulling her into a group hug.
Ava’s mother Angela smiled when she saw them hugging. She said,
“You three can talk. I will prepare something for you.”
Ava hugged her friends tightly. She became emotional, believing that her friends were angry at her.
After breaking the hug, she gave them an upset look. “I am sorry, guys. Maybe you two felt awkward after seeing me yesterday.”
They both shook their heads. They clasped her hands and responded,
“Who told you? We were just shocked. Being a witch is not a bad thing. You are a hybrid, which is cool. Imagine the power you hold. We are proud of you,” Abigail said, cupping her face.
Debra nodded her head. “I have always been a fan of witches and wizards. Have you forgotten what I said about your brother Griffin? We don’t have an issue with it. We were afraid you would get hurt, and we were surprised to see you like that because we had never seen you like that before.”
Ava grinned at them. “So we… are we okay?”
“Of course, babe,” Abigail said, reaching for another hug. Debra joined them. Then all three of them laughed

together.
Anela prepared snacks for them. They ate while talking about Ava. Angela had learned from Stephen that Ava’s Triends were aware of her identity.
“She has been unique since childhood. I was the one who kept her hidden. But now that she has found someone suitable for her, I am pleased for her,” Angela said, stroking Ava’s hair.
After some time, Angela and Debra went to Ava’s room with her.
As soon as Ava entered her room, she noticed a few bags on her bed. She moved toward the bed and grabbed the bags. She saw three sets of clothes inside.
“Boom!”
Debra spoke from behind. She gripped her waist and said,
“Hurry up and get ready.”
Ava realized it was her birthday tomorrow. Her family might have planned a celebration for her. She chuckled, remembering how her mother had summoned her to this pack for this day. So she should be well prepared.
She looked over at her friends, who were staring at her. “Okay.”
They gave a smile and grabbed their dresses. It was them who chose Ava’s dress and brought it to her house as her birthday gift.
Ava put on the dress and looked in the mirror.
The dress was sleeveless and long. A large bow design could be seen near her chest.
In her attractive body, the white dress looked stunning,
Abigail wore a black dress, and Debra wore purple. They cast glances at Ava, admiring her beauty.
“We will get you ready today.”
They made Ava sit in front of the mirror and begin doing her makeup.
When it was finished, Ava was amazed by their efforts. She looked like a pretty doll. The stunning makeup complements her white dress, giving her the appearance of a princess.
They got ready after doing her makeup. Putting on their beautiful heels, the three friends exited the room and proceeded downstairs.
While descending the stairs, Ava noticed how beautifully decorated the house was for h remembered her last birthday in this pack. That was four years ago. How could she have store for her that day?

Her gaze shifted to the guests as she stepped up the final stair. Her eyes came to settle on the one person who had ruined her last birthday in this pack, making it the worst birthday of her life.
She could not help but feel annoyed.
“Now what is he doing at my birthday party?”
