Ava was shocked. Her eyes widened as she was frozen.
When he began to move his lips over hers, she closed her eyes.
She felt a trembling sensation develop on the inside of her body as she felt his lips move. She felt compelled to give him the same feeling in return, and it caused her heart to tighten.
Ian was lost in the feeling. He had reached a point where he was so broken that he allowed his feelings to take control of him, and he needed to let them.
This woman was no longer his ex–girlfriend but his mate. She could not say he crossed the line because he was no one to her. He was her mate, and that alone was enough to drive him insane.
Her lips felt soft and smooth against his. He wanted to keep eating them for as long as possible.
Taking her lower lip in between his lips, he started sucking on it while rolling his tongue over it.
Ava let out a moan.
It shocked her and brought her back to reality. She flung her eyes open.
It was hard for her to believe that she had allowed him to kiss her without attempting to push him away.
Almost immediately, she made an attempt to push him. However, in response to her, he pressed his body against hers, which caused her to let out a gasp.
He seized the opportunity and pushed his tongue inside. Her eyes grew wider as she felt his tongue brush against
hers.
Tilting his head, he gave her a passionate kiss while leaning his arms against the pillar.
Ava was unsure of her feelings. It was a feeling that had been missing for a very long time. When she realized he was not going to let go, she balled her fists.
‘No, no, I can’t lose my mind. I am now someone else’s girlfriend,‘ she told herself.
She tried to ignite a fire to push this man away. But, to her surprise, she could not do so. It was her wolf who was stopping her from doing so.
She was completely lost.
But she was confused too. How would she fight her inner wolf?
Ian’s hands moved slowly down from the pillar, reaching for her waist.
He could not express how he was feeling inside. All the pain that had been buried inside him for years faded in just one kiss.
He did not even know how long he had been waiting for these feelings. He was missing this in his life.
After getting so close to her, he could not tell her how wild his mind was running. His heart pounded as if it were his first kiss, and he could kiss her all night.
He felt her struggling, trying to push him and hurt him with her abilities. But he did not move. The pain comparison to this feeling. He could bear any pain for this.

He was sucking her tongue and playing with it. He returned to her lips, licking them once more and gently biting them with his lips.
Suddenly he felt her sharp teeth bite his bottom lip. It hurt more than he expected. He groaned and moved back
with a frown.
Ava glared at him in anger.
He lifted his hand and touched the corner of his lips. He saw blood and looked back at her.
He smirked at her while wiping his blood with his thumb.
She felt anger at his smirk. It was as if he was teasing her.
“How dare you kiss me?” she said, growling at him.
He placed his palm on the pillar and leaned down to meet her gaze. Her back was already pressed against the pillar, so she could not move back more.
“Dare? Didn’t I get the right from the Moon Goddess to kiss my mate?” he asked, looking into her eyes. His face came close to hers once again. She gulped, not knowing how to push him again.
Her eyes fell on the corner of his lips. She could see blood; she felt it in her mouth too when she bit him.
She averted her gaze from his lips and locked her gaze with him.
“You are a scumbag! This mate bond doesn’t give you the right. I will manage to reject you. Just wait and watch,” she warned him.
A grin appeared on his face. She was stunned. He seemed to be in a good mood as if he had been gloomy for a long time and had finally woken up.
“Watch? I am watching you only. I forgot to tell you that day. Your eyes…”
He tried to look deeply into her eyes. He seemed to be able to see right into her soul.
“Your eyes were beautiful. The green glowing eyes with that look… I found it very pretty.”
She was dumbfounded. Pretty? Had this man gone insane? The look others tried to avoid, he found it pretty?
