Jan stared at Ava. Her scent engulfed him as well as her soft and sweet breath touching his nostrils.
His eyes captured her surprised expression. Her body underneath felt soft to him.
Many thoughts raced through his mind. In what way could he tell this woman how much he loved her?
Why did she not come back to him? Why did she not love him back What did he not have that Dane had?

Ava thought to push him, but her wolf wanted to be with her mate. She closed her eyes when she felt him pushing his tongue inside her mouth.
She felt trapped between her feelings and her loyalty to another man, and those lips of his captivated her completely.
Lastly, a tear rolled down her eyes as her feelings took over her loyalty to the man who had already slept with another woman.
