Dane was in disbelief.
How can anyone help his rival just for the woman he loves?
Was Ian even real? Or a fool in love?
“Alpha lan, your life will be in danger. You are already injured. You should leave.”
Loud growls sounded from ahead, and Dane stopped. He turned his head and noticed a group of wolves‘ shadows in the moonlight approaching from afar.
They were coming from the border, which was the border of the Red Moon Pack.
Dane was too shocked to react.
The roars could be heard from the enemies. They were not prepared for it. They thought they could easily kill Dane and take over the pack since he did not have many fighters with him.
Little did they know, their Alpha’s deadly rival would come to support him himself.
Dane muttered, “They are…”
When they saw the wolves running toward the wizards and started to bite them, Ian smirked and said,
“From the Red Moon Pack. That pack, which you neglected a few days ago, reminded me that the pack was not close to your pack. Looks like now that pack will be the savior for your pack.”
On the other side of the forest,
Ava was starting to lose her patience. She continued to run barefoot, but she could not find Dane. She wanted to shift, but she could not because of the cut in her waist.
She remembered Griffin saying that the knife had touched the blood and temporarily halted her wolf abilities.
As soon as she arrived at the war, she was confronted by a group of witches who attempted to stab her.
This caused Ava’s eyes to turn green as she engaged in a fight with them and struck them with her abilities. She grabbed a knife from the ground and began to fight with the enchanted knife.
On the way, two wolves helped her to go forward. She turned to one wolf but could not recognize him. When she saw the other wolf, she realized that it was her brother Stephen and Ronald fighting with some wolves.
“You all are here!”
She said she looked at them in confusion. It was not their war. Did her brother come here for her? Did her parents send him here?
She was not so badly injured that she was unable to connect via the mind link. So she questioned them.
“What exactly are you doing here?”
Ronald rushed toward the other wolves while fighting, ignoring her question. Stephen shrugged his body, shaking the brown fur, and replied,
“Ian ordered us to help Alpha Dane in the war. He called out the pack fighters from the Red Moon Pack for help next to yours, so it came to great help.”
Ava found it difficult to believe. Didn’t Ian hate Dane? Why was he helping Dane?

Ava’s thoughts were disrupted when a stake approached her. She grabbed it so firmly that it was only a few inches away from her head.

She smirked at the wizard, who looked shocked.
‘Did you think you could kill me? A thousand wizards are killed when a hybrid enters the world. Now take my blow,” she said and threw the stake back to him.
The stake pierced his head, killing the wizard.
Ava started to move forward as she began to look for Dane. She thought Ian was helping Dane but he had not come to the war. It would have endangered his life.
But her legs froze when she was standing close to a tree that was higher than others, she could see what was going on on the other side.
Her attention was drawn to a man who had not shifted. He was fighting bravely while holding two knives in his hands.
Ava’s eyes widened as she mumbled to herself,
“What is he doing here? He can’t shift right now, but still, he came to join the war? Has he lost his mind?”
The influence of alcohol slowly moved away from Freya’s mind.
She tried to defend herself when she got attacked. Slowly but clearly, she was capable of fighting. She knew how to fight. She had received training since she was a child. Her father always tried to make her perfect.
Since she had been with Dane for so long, he sent her to the training hall to be trained in order to avoid her life coming into danger.
She shook her head and tried to focus on the fight. A moment later, she shifted on her blackish–gray wolf.
She tried to bite the leg of a witch and growled at her. She was unaware that a wolf was running in her direction to attack her.
When she turned her head, it was too late to move back.
Freya’s wolf shook inside as she shut her eyes. But another wolf leaped over them and bit the other wolf’s neck, knocking him to the ground.
Freya was shocked to see Dane’s wolf. Her eyes turned blurry as she stared at him.
He rushed up to her and said,
“Why are you here? Go back.”
“No, I want to fight with you. If I die, don’t forget me.”
“Shut up, you stupid woman. Just go back.”
Freya shook her head, and she ran forward to fight. Dane could not help but tell his men to keep Freya there until the war ended.
Four male wolves gathered around Freya, stopping her from approaching others while also protecting her.
She looked at Dane, who was disappearing among the enemies. She shouted in their mate link and said,
‘If you don’t love me, then why did you even save me? You should have let me be killed.”
