No, no! You can’t kill them. Who will run the coven?” Griffin said looking at his people.
“You, the master of the coven, will rule it,” tan replied sarcastically
One of the wizards, who appeared to be very experienced and old, houted at the werewolves alongside them.
“Go and hurt that hybrid woman. She can’t stay alive.”
Griffin was shocked when he heard that. He saw all the wolves rush toward Ava, leaving him speechless.
This was not what he wanted. He had no plan to kill Dane either. For some time he had become greedy for power. But he never wanted his sister to be hurt.
As Ian got distracted by the wolves who were coming to hurt Ava, the war resumed once again.
Dane fought with some wolves, biting and removing their heads from their bodies.
Ava was puzzled for some time until she got pushed and came back to her senses.
Her glowing eyes grew brighter as she began to set fire to the trees around her one by one. Her rage was what fueled the fire. She defended herself and attacked those who attempted to kill her
When a few wolves jumped on her, Dane slammed his head into them, which caused them to move away from her body. Ava sat up, noticing blood coming from Dane’s head. She raised her hand and brushed against his head.
“Dane? Are you okay?”
Dane did not reply to her in the mind link as he just closed his head and nodded, then continued to fight in the war.
From a little far away, Ian watched them. When Ava’s eyes locked with him, he looked away and pierced a knife in a wolf’s neck
The war continued to unfold. Griffin was silent as he looked confused.
He thought Alpha Ian would help him instead of Dane. But seeing that the man was helping his rival, he froze. His gaze shifted to his sister, who was fighting tooth and nail.
Anyone who approached Ava was met with bone–crushing pain from her green glowing eyes. The trees that were on fire continued to move at a faster pace, and by the time everyone noticed it, the balls of fire were falling from the trees‘ branches.
The sight of a witch attempting to stab Ava from behind caused Griffin’s eyes to widen in concern. His blue eyes glared at the witch as he rushed to her and shoved her. He unleashed his power and crushed the witch to the ground.
Ava looked at him and saw what he had just done.
She bit her lower lip, trying to calm herself down, and said,
“Brother, you still have time. If you want, you can stop the war. If one of us wins, it will only hurt the others. Please stop this.”
Griffin shook his head. “Ava, years ago your dad did the same. Didn’t he plot against his own Alpha? Now when I am doing this, why are you stopping me?”
It left Ava speechless. She gritted her teeth in rage. Did he just mean that her father was a bad person? Dane nad told her that he was not a bad person. Even the old pack members still respected him for saving the pack from the cruel Alpha.
“Griffin, that Alpha was cruel to the pack members. He wanted to marry me. Don’t you know all of this? You were the one who supported Dane all of your life. How can you betray him at the last moment? How about his care for you? He gave you so much power in his pack that you can roam around and have the ability.”
Griffin looked away from Ava as he had no answer for this. Ava moved to hug him and said,

“Look at Dane. He is fighting even if he is hurt. Why? Just because is own people have betrayed him? He has been working all alone to raise the pack. Do you really y want to kill the man who sheered you all your life?”
Griffin’s eyes moved to Dane’s wolf.
Another wolf rushed toward Ava and stopped next to her. It was Stephen. His wolf narrowed his eyes as he growled at Griffin. Stephen then shifted his gaze to Ava and said,
“You are wasting your time in the wrong brother. He never thought of you as his sister.”
Griffin glared at him, tightening his fists. Ava broke the hug and backed away. She felt really disappointed by Griffin.
“As you wish, Brother,” she said to Griffin and joined Stephen in the war.
Seeing how she was struggling in the war, as she could not shift into her wolf form because of the incident a week ago, Griffin felt guilty, realizing that he was doing wrong.
He was not like this before. How did he suddenly become so greedy? How could he betray his own Alpha who he used to admire all of his life? How could his greed take over him?
He shut his eyes and roared in anger.
“STOP THE WAR.”
All the witches and wizards stopped when they heard him. In the rules of a coven, when the master told them to stop moving forward in a battle, they would have to stop.
Ava was stunned by Griffin’s voice. She felt relieved that the war was stopped.
However, it was not the end.
A group of wolves growled as they continued to fight.
At that moment, a man emerged from the darkness. Ava’s eyes widened when she saw who he was.
“Nova’s father?” she mumbled in a low tone.
It was Nova’s father, Beta George.
He raised his hand to continue the war. Griffin frowned at him.
“Who are you?”
He chuckled and replied, “Did you think the wolves are from your side to fight? I planned the war to kill both of the Alphas. I offered the White Del Pack to have two packs. My real enemy is Ian Dawson. His death can only be my vengeance against him.”
