Ava and lan entered the hall where the reunion party was taking place. They could have booked any hall in any grand hotel, but they always chose this campus to relive all their memories.
Everyone turned their heads when the Power Gang and their wives walked into the hall.
They were blessed to have their Alpha and Luna around them.
Ava looked around before approaching a table with others.
Dane and Freya were sitting at the table together. Griffin and Brund were there with their mates.
Ava and Ian took seats across from Dane and Freya.
“You look hot, Ava!” Freya said.
“Look who’s talking! The biggest model of this generation!” Ava said it back.
Everyone laughed as they saw them complimenting each other. There was no jealousy between them. Dane and Ian were also speaking very gently. No one could find any arrogance between them either.
Ronald held Abigail’s hand and asked,
“When will we make a pup? Have you seen how Ivan has grown? He needs a brother or sister.”
Abigail hit her arm and muttered, “Shut up. Others could hear us.
Debra was sitting next to Abigail so she laughed. Stephen placed his hand around Debra’s waist and leaned in.
“Don’t laugh. I was also thinking the same.”
Debra blushed as she lowered her head, indicating that she was ready to carry a child for him.
Everyone looked happy with their lives.
Ava enjoyed herself by playing games with her friends. She felt as if someone was staring at her the entire time. She glanced at Ian and found him staring at her.
He seemed incapable of taking his gaze away from her.
“Wanna dance?” Ian asked, extending his hand to her.
Ava held his hand and nodded at him.
They danced as if there were no one else around.
Ava could feel Ian’s hands moving to her waist. Her steps were following him with the beat. The music and smoke engulfed their silhouette, pulling them into craziness.
Suddenly Ian grabbed her hand and started to drag her.
“Where are we going?” she asked when he took her outside.
He got on his bike and signaled for her to join him. She did not ask again and hugged him as she sat behind him.
He started the bike and turned it around before heading to the gate to leave the campus.
The students passing by scream “Ooo!” as they cheer for the badass couple.
During the ride, Ava stood up while holding Ian’s neck.
She smiled, feeling the cool breeze against her face.

Her hair was blowing, and the beautiful cloudy weather made her feel refreshed.
The bike approached a familiar road, taking Ava by surprise.
They entered a bridge over a river.
Ian brought the bike to a stop near a side railing..

He got off the bike and rested his back against it. He lit a cigarette and looked at the river. After blowing smoke from his mouth, he asked,
“Do you remember this place, baby?”
Ava got off the bike and walked toward the railing. She had first visited the location nine years ago, on lan’s birthday.
She was familiar with the bridge because she had crossed it several times on her way to another city. But coming here with him like this brought back memories for her.
Ian stared at her for a while before throwing the cigarette and approaching her.
He hugged her from behind and rested his chin on her shoulder.
“Should I remind you?” he whispered.
Ava looked at the river. The water was shimmering in the moonlight. Over the river, the moon became visible through the clouds, and it appeared to be a stunning sight.
“I remember everything, Ian,” she replied with a smile.
She turned her head and kissed his lips, surprising him.
She returned her gaze to the river and reflected on how their lives had led them to this point.
Fate was not easy on her. She was a nerd, while Ian was a bad boy. Their paths crossed, and they had no idea they were mates.
When he found out, he rejected her and tried to change fate. She had to bear the consequences, which made him realize his feelings for her.
He chased her but ended up hurting her. But his love was so pure that he showed how selfless his heart was toward her.
He risked his life for her many times and nearly died once. But she was the power of him which pulled him back to life.
“Ian”
“Hmm?” Ian asked, kissing her cheek.
“Are you happy with me?”
Her question stunned him. At that moment, he turned her around and asked,
“I could not be happier. You accepted my love, you became my mate and my wife. You have been running my packs alongside me like a powerful Luna. We have our child with us, who is the trace of our love. What else do I need? I should ask you if you are happy with me.”
Ava chuckled as she shook her head. “No, I am not.”
He was taken aback.
He asked with a shocked expression,
“You are not?”
“No, you always try to get close to me and never miss an opportunity, you bad boy,” she laughed, pushing his chest with one finger.

“I am serious,” he said, looking at her with his dark eyes.

She blinked, putting her hands around his neck. “Why so serious, my Alpha? You are the best man in the world. Nobody can love anyone as much as you love me. I consider myself blessed to have you as my husband. I am delighted to have you in my life.”
Ian was pleased with her response as he placed his hands around her waist. “I will always love you in ways no one else can.” Ava bit her bottom lip as she stared into his eyes which were filled with desire.
“If you keep looking at me like that, I will leave you.”
She then laughed as she joked.
However, she let out a gasp when he pulled her closer to him and pressed her against his body.
She blushed as he kissed her forehead and said,
“Don’t leave me,
Mate.”
