“Are you crazy? What are you saying?” Ian asked as his frown deepened.
Ava rolled her eyes. “Look, I don’t want to go anywhere with yo-”
While she was speaking, Ian interrupted her by saying, “But you are still sitting in my car.”
“The reason for this is that I am concerned about my brother.”
“I have already told you. There is no reason for you to be concerned about him. I am heading over to check on him and make sure everything is alright. So go back to your house.”
Upon hearing Ian, Ava experienced a sense of uncertainty regarding him. Why was he so hesitant to bring her along? Her brother might be in big trouble.
It was her responsibility to find out what happened to Stephen because she had already accepted him as her brother.
Ava gazed at the windshield while folding her arms against her chest and muttering,
“Don’t bother. Just start the car because I am not getting out.”
Ian held her gaze for a few seconds before starting his car and driving away from her house.
When Ian was busy driving, the whole car turned silent.
Ava slowly moved her eyes from the road and gazed at Ian.
She noticed that he was in a bad mood as if he was going to kill someone. His neck veins became more visible, giving him an intimidating look.
Ava gulped when she glanced at his hand, which was holding the steering wheel. The way he was clenching it, it looked like he would break it anytime.
Her eyes froze on the tattoo on his forearm. The yellow light from the streetlamps highlighted his tattoos in front of her eyes.
She examined it carefully.
It was a brand new tattoo of the moon and the sun facing each other. Between them was a thin line separating them from each other.
The design of the tattoo left Ava speechless. She had never seen such a beautiful tattoo before. It looked manly in his hand, but it also appeared to be painful.
As if Ian noticed her looking at his tattoo, he pulled his sleeves to his wrist.
“Have you got a new tattoo today?” Ava asked in a low tone.
“Hmm.”
It was the only response lan had given her. (1)
Ava regretted asking him that question.
‘Why did I ask him that? I should not care if he gets a new tattoo. Why am I so shameless!‘ She scolded herself in
her mind,
The whole car was filled with Ian’s cologne, which caused Ava’s wolf to move inside.

Ava closed her eyes as she wanted to feel her wolf entirely. Her wolf howled inside, and she flung her eyes open.
She let out a loud gasp!
‘Are you back?‘ she asked her wolf.
However, her wolf did not respond; instead, she continued howling inside.
“Are you okay?” Ian asked, casting a glance at her.
Ava tried to calm herself and mumbled,
“Yeah, I am fine.”
She was at a loss as to why her wolf could still react to lan’s scent after a long time of rejection.
After a while, Ava noticed that the car had entered a strange alley. She sat upright in her seat. “Where are we?” she asked with a confused look.
She could see the walls of the alley were painted in different colors. The streetlights were red and blue.
She looked at the boys and girls who were roaming in the alley. They looked savage. The girls are dressed in short dresses and wearing dark lipstick. All of the boys had tattoos on their bodies. They looked terrible in Ava’s eyes.
Ava gulped as she turned her head at Ian.
“Where are we?” she asked once again.
Ian parked his car behind a few cars and turned to face her.
“Why are you scared? Didn’t you want to come with me?”
Ava cleared her throat, showing that she was confident. “Yeah. Where is Stephen?”
Ian grinned at her. “Stop giving this ‘I am so concerned about my brother‘ look. I should waste my time with you a little more because before getting out of your house, I had a fight with your brother.”
“Fight? For what?”
She had never heard members of the Power Gang engage in fights with each other. People at their university liked to call their group the epitome of friendship.
Ian leaned his back against his seat and looked outside the car.

When they saw him, the girls who were walking by the car gave him a wink. He smirked at the girls in response.
Ava scoffed when she noticed that.
‘He started flirting right here! How cheap this boy is! I just can’t believe it. Who knows where Stephen is!‘ she said in her head.
The smirk disappeared from Ian’s face as he turned his head and met her gaze.
“What? Now can’t I even look at the girls?” he asked.
“Yes, you can. But I did not come here to witness your flirting. I am going to look for my brother myself. You can enjoy yourself. By the way, he should know how worried his friend is when he is in danger.”
After saying that, she got out of the car. She shut the door harshly. She did not even look back at Ian, who was staring at her through the window.

Ava started walking as she took out her phone from her bag She dialed Stephen’s number. But it was unreachable.
When she walked past some boys, they whistled at her.
She nearly froze. She was startled by their behavior. Boys at her university liked to mock her by giving her disgusting looks. When she became Stephen’s sister, they stopped bothering her and were afraid to approach her.
But here, the boys were giving her different looks. She wanted to get out of the alley as quickly as possible.
At that time, she heard a boy from behind.
“Hey, sweetie! You look new here. Wanna have fun with us?
