Luke was shocked when he heard Ava. He found out what had happened in the cafeteria through his friends. Lan made it clear to everyone that he had his eyes on Ava.
He thought Ava would reject him and tell him that she would go with Ian.
But Ava’s words surprised him.
“Ava.”
Ava gave him a small smile and said,
“What you heard about me and lan, I will clear it up for you. I was with him last night, but it was because Stephen was in danger. I told you before. I no longer have any feelings for him.”
Luke’s face broke into a wide grin. He smiled at her broadly and asked,
“Are you sure? Are you sure that you are giving me a chance?”
Ava nodded her head with a warm smile. Ian had already broken her heart. She did not want him to break it again. So it was better she gave it to someone else and be loyal to the person.
Luke pulled her into a hug. Ava glanced at others who were looking at them. She closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around Luke.
“I am very happy, Ava. I promise to always keep you happy.”
Ava nodded her head after breaking the hug. He cupped her face and said,
“This weekend is the basketball tournament match. It’s the finale, and I want you to come and support me. If I win, I will make the day memorable for you.”
He indirectly told her that he would propose to her officially to become his girlfriend.
Ava shifted her gaze away from him and nodded her head in response. She had no idea why, but whenever she was near Luke, she never experienced that electrifying feeling.
Why did she feel it only when she was with Ian?
It was afternoon.
After attending all of her classes, Ava walked out of the campus. She glanced at Stephen and his friends. Ian was not with them.
Stephen walked up to her and asked,
“I heard what happe=”
Ava interrupted him and said,
“Don’t worry. I am fine. And thank you for supporting me. Theard you had warned Ian about me.”
Stephen smiled at her. “I am your brother. It’s my responsibility. But I am sorry. Even after trying, he…”
Stephen paused, losing his words to make her understand the situation.
Ava patted his arm and replied,
“Don’t fight with your friends for me. I will handle it. I promise.”

Stephen gave her a warm smile and stroked her hair in response. It reminded her of lan patting her on the head this morning
Ava thought about to call the driver, but Stephen said,
“Will you wait for me for a few minutes? I am also leaving right now.”
“Sure,” she replied.
Stephen went back to his friends to talk about something
Ava waited for him as she pulled out her phone from her bag and began to use it.
Her gaze shifted away from her screen when she noticed a pair of shoes approaching her.
She raised her head to look at the person.
However, she was taken aback.
It was the same guy she had seen at the restaurant. The boy with green eyes.
“Yes? May I know you?” she asked the boy.
The boy stared at her without responding, which caught her off guard.
“Excuse me? Are you listening to me?” She spoke again.
The boy raised his hand and moved his finger toward her face. Before Ava could say anything, he placed his finger in the center of her brows.
Ava felt like someone was jerking her entire body. The boy immediately removed his hand from her forehead and took a step back.
Ava’s eyes widened. She had no idea what had just happened.
“W–Who are yo-”
Ava could not complete her sentence as someone called her from behind.
“Ava?”
Ava turned around and saw Luke approaching her. She could see that his eyes were on the green–eyed boy.
He came to stand next to her and frowned at the boy.
“Are you stalking her?” Luke asked the boy.
The boy raised his brows in response. Ava almost believed that he was mute if he did not speak out.
“Are you his boyfriend?” the boy asked.
Ava and Luke both were offended. They gave the boy a scowl.
“Who are you to ask that?” Ava asked, getting a little angry.
“Yes, I am her boyfriend. Now what?” Luke said to the boy.
Ava glanced at Luke. She remembered asking him about dating.
“I can’t believe it. How can you date him?” The boy said, looking at Ava in disbelief.

Luke got so mad at the boy that he grabbed the boy’s collar and asked,
“How dare you say that?”
“Luke!”
Ava hurriedly grabbed his hand, trying to break the hold.
“Please calm down, Luke.”
The boy did not move. His eyes shifted on Ava. Ava was stunned when she saw his eyes glow green for a second.
Stephen and his friends dashed toward them. He freed the boy from Luke’s grip.
“What happened?” Stephen asked Luke.
“This boy is stalking Ava.”
Stephen glared at the boy and asked,
“How dare you stalk my sister?”
The boy looked at Stephen. His eyes glowed again.
“Is she your sister?”
“Yes, she is. Who are you? Why are you here? I don’t think a wizard has the permission to roam around our pack like this.”
Ava was stunned when she heard Luke.
‘A wizard? He is a wizard! That was why his eyes glowed green!‘ she thought.
She did not know why the boy looked at her like that.
“I am from the Thunder Howl Pack. I had permission to come here. I am leaving the pack tonight. So don’t be concerned about the permission thing.”
This was the second time Ava heard about that pack. She glanced at Stephen and noticed his
darkened.
“Then you should leave as soon as possible.”
The boy nodded his head and replied,
“I will leave for sure. But before that…”
The boy paused and glanced at Ava, then muttered,
“I want to talk to her. I came to this university for her.”
